Kon-el looked around the medical bay of the Justice League head quarters. The reason he was here instead of off goofing around with his friends lay in two of the beds that occupied the room. A boy, around 17 or 18, and a girl who couldn’t be much older than the boy.
Kon shook his head to try and get his thoughts in order. He had been visiting Clark and Lois when some kind of vortex opened in the middle of their living room and deposited the two he was currently looking at.
After checking them for any injuries, Lois discovered something in the pack the boy had been wearing. A Kryptonian data sphere.
The sphere was damaged but was operational enough to retrieve some of the stored data. What it revealed came as quite a shock to Clark. Apparently the boy, Ran-el, had also been sent to Earth when Krypton had been destroyed. Not only that, but according to the sphere, the boy was Clark’s cousin.
After this revelation, Clark had the two brought to head quarters for observation. Another shock came after tests were run on the two. The girl’s DNA had been altered some how to have Kryptonian DNA in it.
Kon was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the boy groan.
