Pluto watched from the Gates, fretting and trying to figure out how to extricate the people she didn't want to lose from the ones she DID want to lose.

Sailor Mercury pointed out the center of the disturbance. Everyone, including those Sailor Pluto wanted gone, gathered together to look at the softly glowing crack in the air.

Sailor Pluto tried to stop it from happening. She tried to put a brake on the event, having manipulated it to come here and do what she had wanted. Now she struggled to halt the progress.

It seemed to twist somehow and then things really started getting strange.

The crack moved, as she'd sought, to a space in earth orbit where it would go off without any consequence. Except that it seemed to be getting bigger. Much bigger. Much much bigger.

Sailor Pluto's eyes bugged out as the cracks went shooting out past the moon on one side and nearly that distance the other way.

Sailor Pluto watched in mute shocked horror as the entire planet moving along its normal path in space simply went through a crack in reality.

She was still blinking and trying to comprehend what she'd just witnessed as the crack resealed itself.

The only problem was that the planet wasn't there anymore. No Earth. She'd just lost the planet.

"Well, bugger," said Sailor Pluto, as the shock slowly wore off.
