Elsewhere, at an undisclosed location on Earth....
The two figures stood cloaked in darkness, the only light coming from a monitor they were both watching. On it, the scene of Zero and X retrieving Lina was displayed, looping over and over. A smile could be seen on the face of one of them as he began to speak.
"At long last, the sealed tomb has been found and opened. With the Mother awake, the demons should be awakening. A momentous occasion indeed, don't you think so?" He asked.
The other figure, practically covered from head to toe in tan white cloth replied, "Just keep your promise, and I don't care."
"Go, and see if you can persuade her to join us." the first stated, motioning with his right hand.
"As you wish." The second replied, stalking off.
Somewhere beneath the Lunar surface...
"Oh my, she's awakened." Commented the purple haired figure as he turned to a shadowed throne, "This promises to be most interesting, does it not, master?"
The figure merely nodded.
"You wish to know why I insist on communicating like the pathetic humans and reploids, master? Well... that's a secret!" the purple haired figure replied to the unheard words.
The shadowed figure merely shook its head and motioned with its left hand in an exasperated manner.
"Yes, I do believe I will go have some fun, after all, it has been a while since the world last heard from Xellos, the Mysterious Priest!" Xellos replied with his ever present smile, vanishing.
