"Lina, no one knows much of what went on during the time around when X was made, so I think it would help if you told us about yourself," Alia stated, "It could really help fill in some holes as to what happened all those years ago."
Lina rubbed her forehead in frustration for a bit before stating, "Oh, all right, I was constructed by Dr. Inverse, my mom, initially as a test bed for evolving AI..."
Lina, Age 0
"She's done!" Declared Dr.Inverse, her fire red hair a bit disheveled from working all day on the diminutive form before her.
"What's done, mom?" Asked a tired sounding voice from behind her.
Turning around, Mrs. Inverse saw her young daughter, Luna, come walking in, a drowsy expression on her face. She smiled, stating, "Why, your new sister of course."
Instantly perking up, Luna asked, "Really!?"
Nodding, Dr.Inverse stated, "Yep, now get to bed, you'll get to see Lina tomorrow."
"Mom felt that a creation with free will would be more balanced if it had to grow and be raised like a human, giving me body upgrades for every birthday..." Lina continued, others, including Signas and Axl had come into the room to hear the story being told...
Lina, Age 6
"Look mom! That Megaman guy caught the old geezer again!" Lina called out, running up to her mother with a newspaper in hand. The headline detailed Wily finally getting put behind bars after his numerous attempts at conquering the world.
“It’s about time he got locked away, maybe we’ll get some peace now,” Replied Dr. Inverse, who was smiling at her daughter’s enthusiasm, “That man should never have gotten away with the things he did.”
Looking at the monitor Dr.Inverse was using, Lina asked, “What’s that, another of your projects?”
Smiling slightly sadly this time, she replied, “Yeah, something commissioned by the military, nothing to worry your little head over.”
“Everything kept going fine, until the week after my fifteenth birthday,” Lina suddenly paused, shaking her head and stating, “and I can’t really remember much around then, sorry.”
“It’s okay, it’ll probably come back to you later,” Alia stated comfortingly, “Now, would you like to see the rest of the base?”
Lina merely nodded, feeling bad about lying to Alia about not remembering.
