"What's going on?" asked Kaname Chidori.
"Don't know yet, whatever happened knocked most of the major systems offline," said Teletha. "What information do we have on that plane?"
One of the techs spoke up. "We received some data just before everything went dead. Private charter heading for the island. Some sort of job placement service called Pluto Professional Placement apparently contacted these individuals and sent them out here. We were still trying to get information on this company when everything went dead."
"Captain?" said another technician. "GPS is down and we haven't been able to raise any satellites. Checking out the equipment now."

We're all accessing data back and forth at high speeds but there's this connection."
"If you say so," said Kaname, not remembering much about her brief experiences in that regard. To her it had been more diving into a vast sea of thought.
"There's just us, I can feel you and there's me, and that's it," said Teletha. "I'm not feeling any more Whispered."
"Where's Sosuke?" asked Kaname, getting a BAD feeling about this.
Sosuke Sagara was in the Arbalest, with other people in their Arm Slaves taking defensive positions.
