Setsuna's Fault: As The Worlds Turn... [Episode 171459]

The main problem with the method that Setsuna had chosen was the very fact that it worked as she thought of it. That was the case due to the fact that she simply had wanted to remove all the possible things that could influence her universe to go off the path that she'd been certain was the right one. Now, there would be a problem in sending what would be caught in her trap into the past, given that she could wind up with something Ranma Saotome showing up in feudal Japan to become some sort of 'folk hero'. On the other hand, sending them to the future might only delay the problem, not get rid of it. So, she had decided to 'toss' what she caught 'away', which would mean off into the streams of time.

Unfortunately, that also meant that she was also going to be dropping them into another place in space-time. As she didn't really pay much attention to them, she hadn't really considered which place they would wind up in. She'd merely found someplace that would look likely enough, and simply dropped them into it.

As a result, the teams sent by Tessa to do recon were not exactly going to find what they might have expected. Rather, they were about to discover that they were not in 'Kansas' any more. They already had an inkling of that situation, but they didn't know where they were.

And Pluto hadn't been too sure about their location either. Given the 'limitations' of the Gate, she wasn't about to be able to hover around to make sure that things went well. With things as they were, she was already screwed, and it seemed that things were about to get a whole lot worse.
