Setsuna's Fault: Flight Missing.... [Episode 162894]

by Kender

Sailor Pluto lowered her arm and recognized that this was not a good situation to be in. She didn't need anyone to tell her that the time shift had happened, and she was very aware of what that would mean for the future that she'd been trying to protect. Unfortunately for her, that was not something that would be immediately fixable.

However, as her vision cleared up, she knew that there was something that she could check. To be honest, she had to look, if only to find out what had happened to that plane. There were people on that flight who could be causing certain 'issues' to come up, even by their absence. If that plane had crashed, they would still be around to affect things personally, and if they were no longer there, their very absences would change what happened wherever they came from.

Had any part of the aircraft been caught in the time slip, it would have been taken along for the ride. Neither seemed to happen, as there wasn't even a single piece of debris floating on the water, or sinking beneath the waves.

That left only one explanation that was feasible, and it gave her a churning gut. That plane had been carrying Mamoru, the man who was needed if the future that she'd been aiming for was to come to pass, and the fact that it had been caught up in the time slip meant that he was not going to be around, just like the Senshi were. Knowing that fact, she understood one simple thing.

In trying to 'fix' what she saw as a problem, she'd just created an unmitigated disaster for the future that she'd been aiming for.

Lowering her head a bit and slumping her shoulders, she let that knowledge weigh her down, while:
