"Oh, um, Mother?"
"Mmmmmm?"
"Thank you. Just one more question, through... Have you ever heard of a "Nepherenia"?
Her "Mother" blinked.
"...What? ...You mean, besides me? ....I haven't been called that in so ages..."
Sailor Moon gaped at the projection of her Queen Mother from a former life, then.
" - Your name is - Nepherenia, Mother?"
"It's my personal name. Serenity is my reign name. ...I used to be a bit miffed that I had such a commonplace name when I was a child, actually. Well, commonplace amoung the people I used to know, anyway. - It was a rather popular name at certain points in time, you see, and I had at least 6 or 7 various and sundery relatives with the same name as me - though we could usually tell each other apart by the other names, of course."
...It was the equivalent of Yamada Hanako or something? She was beginning to wonder if the universe really and truly had something against her...
"But "Nepherenia"s that caused problems, is it? Hmmm...Well their was somebody who ran off with one of the Earth Courts's Royal Guards or something, once, but... Mmmmm, no, I can't even remember if that one's name was Nepherenia or not, now that I think about it. Sorry, dearest. But..."
"....Mmmmmm?"
"Hmmmm. There also was somebody that ...went crazy and turned all her servants into puppets or something? - But that must have been before my time, I think - I would have remembered more if I'd had to deal with it myself, surely. ...I wish I could remember more, child."
Well, so did she, but it couldn't be helped, she supposed.
"It's alright, Mother. You've been a great help. ...Really."
"Oh, my dear daughter..."
They mock-hugged, again. It was the thought that mattered, of course.
Usagi sat on her bed that night, and tried to organize what she had learned.
No additional info about Pharoah 90, but then, she hadn't expected much on that count.
The little fact that her Queen Mother from a former life's name actually had been Nepherenia was mind-boggling, to say the least, and that so many of her relatives also seemed to be called that -
Usagi sighed, then. Maybe the Nepherenia-that-was-her-Enemy actually had had some kind of connection to the Royalty of the Moon, once upon a time. Well, if it were so, it would explain a few things, certainly - like the way she seemed to be able to lap up the Solor System's energies like a bloody sieve, once she really had enough energy to really get going...
But still, that was neither here or there. Usagi turned her mind to the third and most interesting piece of data, in her point of view.
The fact that the Outers had been four at one time was quite interesting, in and of itself, but that the "final weapon" Senshi might still be or not be in "statis" was more then just simply interesting. And Phoroah 90 and Nepherenia both qualified as "dire" enough, surely?
OK...time to start scanning, again...
Outers..."Saturn"...Outers..."Saturn"...
Uranus and Neptune were still fighting something. At this time of night? Gaaah.
("Uranus...at times like this...*pant, pant* Don't you wish their were other people to fight with us?")
("Well, yeah. ...But still. Who?)
("Well, it does seem like the Princess and her Guards actually have reincarnated after all...")
("Neptune. Would you trust the Princess or her Inner Guard to do even clean-up duty? Be frank, now...")
A light chuckle.
("Well, they don't have the best track record, true...")
("More like what the bloody hell was her highness doing with that Earth Prince and why the hell couldn't they do anything when they were right on the bloody spot, yadda yadda yadda yadda...ahh, sorry. I get ranty about that kind of thing...")
("Mmmmmmmm.")
A light sigh.
Usagi mentally clicked the connection off, then. So.
She'd think about what she just heard...later.
Later.
For now, she would keep on trying to look for this elusive "Saturn"...
