"Oh woe is me," sniffled Soun. "Akane, Nabiikiii, Kasumiiii."
"I'm so hungry," complained Genma.
Happosai stood tall abruptly. Well, he straightened up at least. "This'll never do. All the pretty ladies are going into hiding. How can I stay here when their precious underthings are unguarded?!"
"But Master, you've already raided everything within the district," pointed out Genma. "You've filled Nabiki's and Kasumi's rooms."
"QUIET," growled Happosai. "There's still places I can pack my ill-gooten botty. Ill-botten gooty. Preciouses. Aghhhh. This situation has got me so upset I've got a speech impediment!"
Genma sat quietly except for his stomach choosing that moment to growl.
"That's it, come on boys, we're going shopping," declared Happosai. "We'll have to go further abroad though. The pickings here are slim right now."
Akane finished with a flourish, the bright colors of her fried rice indicating that she'd done it correctly. Nothing to it!
Lisa Fukuyama nodded at her latest creation. This magic potion would work wonderfully with the ingredients she'd managed to obtain. How handy that this remote village should prove to have such supplies.
That they were sharing counter space was merely because the village was so crowded right now. Not a problem.
At which point Ranma came charging in, then ducked to the side. Kirie, Kosame, Kazuharu Fukuyama, and Miharu (who felt left out) all charged through the space he'd just occupied, continuing on into the counters.
The results were pretty much what you'd expect. Kirie knocked Risa over, crashed into Akane, and went down. The various ingredients and finished projects flew up and combined. Kosame tackled Kirie in midair, both of them landing atop Akane. Kazuhara grabbed for Kirie, pressing up against Kosame in the process. Miharu sneezed as she inhaled some pepper. The three marks on her forehead glowed briefly and brightly.
"Pink smoke?" asked Cologne, showing the wisdom of age by not investigating further as smoke began billowing out of that tent.
"Oh dear," said Koyomi, moving forward to check on Miharu.
"Miharu?" asked Yukinari, also moving forward to check on Miharu.
Lilica frowned ever so slightly as she moved in to check on her boss.
