Taking a moment, Nabiki rearranged their seating so the six girls were in a circle. To Nabiki's right was Kodachi, then Kasumi, Ukyou, Akane and finally Shampoo. As the dealer passed counter-clock wise, that would be the order the dealer changed in.
With everything finally in place, Nabiki dealt a card face up to each girl. Kasumi's Ace easily trumped all other cards giving her first deal.
More than a little embarrassed at the idea of what was about to happen, Kasumi eventually dealt the cards like a good hostess. After all the girls had their five cards, a round of discards and deals were made with each girl opting for two new cards.
Not knowing what to do next, Kasumi laid her cards down for everyone to see. "Uhm, is this good?"
Reaching over Nabiki rearranged her cards, showing Kasumi's hand to have a pair of fours and a King for the kicker. Looking around Nabiki noticed no one seemed either worried or happy about this. When all the cards were finally down, it turned out everyone had a pair except for Nabiki.
Picking up her clipboard, Nabiki made a check under her name, then started shimmying out of her shorts. Finding Ranma staring like a captured wild animal from the corner she left him at, Nabiki swung her shorts around over her head while calling out to him. "Come on Ranma, you've got a job here."
Seeing him blink and point at himself as if he were trying to disbelieve she was talking to him, Nabiki spurred him on. "Come on already, I need you to do your part. Bring my bra with you."
Reluctantly, Ranma eventually got up and ambled over, treating the various girls like a pile of high explosives with short fuses. Since Akane was there and fuming about the perverted activities she'd been roped into, it was probably an understatement.
Taking pity on him, Nabiki got up and lead him over to a corner near the door where a fifty gallon barrel was sitting. Taking the lid off she began to explain his part to the pig-tailed boy. "Okay, all you gotta do is take the clothing we take off, put it in here, then use this stick to push it to the bottom."
Nabiki helpfully demonstrated this process on her shorts.
Ranma stared into the barrel, "What is that?"
Her mischievously cheerful reply put several people on edge, "Fifty gallons of tapioca pudding of course. We can't have any sore losers chickening out, grabbing their clothes and running inside."
Seeing he was still slow to respond, Nabiki spurred him on some more, "Well, get to it, put my bra in."
Staring at Nabiki as if she'd gone crazy and demanded him to soak her clothing in fifty gallons of tapioca pudding, Ranma shrugged and plopped the bra in before plunging it own with the stick.
Returning to the game in her new sunny and cheerful move, the other five girls subtly edged away from Nabiki. Nabiki in turn merely looked at Ukyou and said, "Well? Deal already."
After a few seconds of staring at Nabiki, the chef reluctantly started dealing. Discard and draws went smoothly and this time everyone laid down their hands at roughly the same time. Surprisingly only Nabiki was once again without so much as a pair, while Akane was proud of her two pair.
Nabiki once again worked on her clipboard, this time making an alarming number of checks. "Okay, Kasumi, you lose your dress, Shampoo loses her pants, Ukyou her tights, and Kodachi loses her top."
While everyone was staring at Nabiki and trying to figure out why everyone was suddenly losing, the subject of their stares pulled her shirt over her head.
Now completely topless and wearing only her panties, Nabiki held her shirt out for Ranma to take. In the time it took for the martial artist to reluctantly take her shirt and begin stuffing it into the pudding, Ukyou came out of her surprise, allowing her to ask, "Uhm sugar, how the hell are you scoring this again?"
Unperturbed Nabiki turned her clipboard around and began pointing to scores out, "It's real simple, two pair beats a pair, which in turn beats the garbage I had. Akane beat all of you once and I lost twice. It just makes the game more fun, because if a round shows a full house, straight, three of a kind, and a variety of hands, the lowest hand could lose up to five times in one round."
With a shrug, Shampoo started removing her top as there wasn't much reason to accuse Nabiki of changing the rules to cheat when that rule made her lose more. With the amazon's top being stuffed into the barrel of pudding the other girls followed suit, with Kasumi being both reluctant to part with her dress and to be seen in just her underwear. That Ranma had been equally embarrassed while picking up their 'discarded' clothing had comforted the shy girls like Kasumi.
Nodding and humming to herself, Nabiki spoke up expectantly, "Okay then round three. Your deal Akane."
Feeling a bit confident, particularly after her great hand turned out to have great results, Akane wasted little time and got straight to the shuffling and dealing. After another round of discards and draws, the girls once again prepared to lay down all.
This time it was just pairs for most with Kasumi sporting three Jacks for the win. Kodachi and Nabiki both turned up nothing. Suddenly less confident and getting nervous, Akane stared as Nabiki worked on her clipboard again.
That Nabiki put it down with a lot more check marks to rock backwards and slide her panties off didn't make Akane feel any better about this insane perverted game. With Ranma treating the small pair of panties like a live rattle snake as he took it over to be stuffed into the pudding, Akane found herself oddly not blaming him for this.
With Nabiki picking her clipboard back up while completely nude, Akane found it hard to blame this on Nabiki, despite wondering if Nabiki was the pervert here.
Her own stripping out of the way, Nabiki announced the results. "Okay, Akane, off with you dress, Kodachi, you lose your skirt and your tights. Ukyou and Shampoo pass, and Kasumi wins."
As Ranma took Kodachi's clothing to the barrel, Nabiki gave Akane an infuriatingly superior grin, "Well sis, you gonna chicken out?"
Being the last one to prove she had the guts to play Nabiki's stupid game, Akane pulled her sweater dress over her head in a huff before hitting Ranma in the face with it. Three seconds later with the squishy sound of her dress being soaked in tapioca pudding, Akane realized she was now stuck in the dojo in just her underwear.
Grinning at her little sister, Nabiki rocked forward onto her feet and then walked over to bags containing the costumes. Idly looking through them and apparently ignoring the fact that she was butt-naked, Nabiki casually asked, "You girls mind if I go ahead and pick my costume? I'll give you a peak into what you're getting into."
Not hearing any complaints, Nabiki picked out her costume and returned to her seat, preparing to unpack it and show off her finds at that special costume shop.
