Turning the bag upside down, Nabiki dumped her costume out on the floor.
As the girls got a look at it and realized it was just a cheap bunny girl outfit in garishly bright pink, their disappointment was obvious.
Ignoring them, Nabiki picked up the pink spandex thong with puff-ball tail with a smirk. Her grin was justified as the girls watched in amazement as the thong began shifting colors and designs. After only a bare moment, Nabiki was holding a silvery leather thong with ornate embossed designs, delicate trim work, a satiny padded inner lining and stylish bunny-tail. Smirk in full, force, Nabiki grinned at the girls. "Did I neglect to mention they're magic outfits? They'll change to not only fit you, but suit your personality."
Following her words with action, Nabiki continued inspecting her outfit, each touched piece turning from cheaply made pink horrors to ornately hand-crafted dark silvery leather masterpieces. Even the cheap leather collar underwent a radical change, becoming a C shape of ornately worked silver with a corresponding wide gold medallion to connect the open silver ends into one solid collar. Most surprising was when Nabiki held up the piece of packaging cardboard that exclaimed "Pretty Fighting Babe 'Bunny-chan'!", as the packaging now showed a girl with Nabiki's face and hairstyle wearing the silver outfit that Nabiki had just revealed. The picture of bunny-girl Nabiki was so accurate to both the girl and the costume that the girls wondered if Nabiki's hair was actually going to turn the matching silver on the package. With their attention firmly in place, Nabiki gave them some advice. "Since the costume will change to suit you, just pick up this piece of packaging and it'll show you what you'll look like in the costume."
Picking up her costume and putting it into a neat pile by her side, Nabiki left her character card with her soon-to-be image on it before her on the floor as a reminder to the girls. "So, we ready to keep on playing?"
Having had a lot of personal experience with the magic craziness that happened in Ranma's life, Akane jumped to a conclusion born of experience,"Magic Costumes? Do you have any idea what you're playing with? What if they turn us into mindless love slaves or something?"
Nabiki idly waved off her little sister's concerns. "I did a lot of searching for this kind. They don't change your mind or make you do anything. You can even take it off and return completely to normal, not that the magic does much anyways."
Seeing Akane wasn't completely mollified and the girls were having some misgivings about playing with magic, Nabiki blithely continued, "Of course, I don't see why you're in a huff, if I keep playing my cards right I'll be out of the game in another two or three rounds. There's nothing bad about the costumes and I was already prepared to prove it by losing first."
After a pointed look from Nabiki, Shampoo shrugged and started shuffling the cards. She did have a question though, which she asked with little preamble. "Does Bunny-chan know what costume magic do to Shampoo cat curse?"
Grinning at the friendly poke, 'Bunny-chan' warmly answered the amazon. "I was told a complete outfit would lock the curse, so if you were wearing this one you'd just be a bunny-girl. Unfortunately they didn't have any for guys, so it's no help to Ranma."
Nodding with a bit of a smile, Shampoo started dealing. Due to the set-up of the game, the hand went quickly once again. In short order the cards were once again down.
Unlike before there were a number of good hands in this round, so Nabiki rearranged them into a pyramid to easily show who lost and how much.
Grabbing her clipboard and marking the results, Nabiki announced who lost what, "Alright Ukyou wins with a Full House. Akane and Kasumi both lose a pass as they only had two pair. Shampoo's pair means she's down to her panties. In last with nothing, Kodachi needs to strip and pick out an outfit to put on her first piece, while I need to put on three pieces of mine."
