The ears went from flat back to slightly cocked forward. Or could he?
Ranma waited for the panda to get near and then shot forward, scrambling up the panda's fur and avoiding the swats. Unfortunately, while he was enjoying that he was faster and more agile - his claws and bite just wouldn't get through the fur and skin.
"YEOWWTCHH! HEY! OUCH!"
Hmmm. The ears were sufficiently thin he could latch onto those with his jaws. What else could he grab ahold of?
No, the tail was just too disgusting.
Hey, there was a little flap of skin just between the shoulder blades. That'd work!
SNAP!
"AIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
The Guide settled down next to his hut. This might take awhile.
"Okay, this is just plain bizarre," said Ryoga after he watched something that looked like a pitcher plant get into a heated battle with a bubble-blowing crab. "WHERE THE HELL AM I NOW?!"
The pitcher plant and crab looked at each other, seemed to consider things, and then -
Whack-crack-. "HEY!" SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOSH! "STOP THAT!"
Having been whipped by vines and blasted by bubbles, Ryoga straightened up. "Okay. That's it. I'm not being beaten on by anything THAT silly looking!"
"Great grandmother?"
"This means something," said Cologne. "However, whatever it is saying does not make any sense at all."
The little pink ball got to the stage, tapped thoughtfully at the microphone, gave a bright smile and said something that would have gotten people familiar with it running for earplugs.
"Jigglypuff!"
Ranma eventually stopped trying to hurt his father and decided:
