Ranma's Wish: Eevee, part 2 [Episode 165699]

by Kestral

"-and that explains the Eevee," said the Guide's nephew.

Ranma-eevee nodded. Okay, he turned into a little Miyazaki-style fox-squirrel critter with cold water and turned back with hot water. More potentially useful were these other forms. Neither he nor this kid knew where any of those 'evolution stones' were - so the fire/water/lightning evolutions were out. Ranma didn't know what to make of a 'contentment index' that would transform him, but he guessed it would be something like being particularly happy. That meant he could turn into one of these psychic types called an 'espeon' or a dark type called a 'umbreon' depending on whether he got happy during the day or during the night.

He understood all that. He also understood that as an eevee he liked fruit and nuts and other stuff like that, but had pretty sharp teeth. Ranma's father understood that part as well.

Well, whatever. He had a feeling he was going to have P-chan's problems with people mistaking him for something to eat. Which meant getting back to Japan where people didn't regard anything they could catch as food, unlike rural China.

Ranma-eevee dunked his head into the teacup, frowning when the cup shattered. Looked like if he wanted to do that sort of thing, he needed to retract his head faster. Now in human form, he could make plans for returning to Japan and leaving his stupid panda father behind. He did NOT need to go to the Amazon Village or after that dragon-hair soup. Bypass those problems entirely, thank you very much.
