Ranma (or at least the person that looks like Ranma) chose that moment to wake up. "Oooooohh... my head! Where am I?"
She stood up and wiped the splinters from her skirt.
Skirt? That's right, the red-headed girl was dressed in a green skirt, complete with a yellow blouse and white/pink sneakers. Her pigtail reached down to her skirt and was decorated with a pretty bow. Add some makeup and a necklace, and you have an outfit which the normal Ranma wold never, never, under no possible circumstances ever, would wear.
The redhead still didn't seem to realize that Akane is standing in the same room, she picked up the strange staff and looked around. "Looks like their dojo alright," she mumbled to herself.
Akane had enough. "Hey," she shouted, still not entirely sure if this was Ranma or another strange double of his female side.
The girl turned around and smiled. "Oh.. Hi, didn't see you over there. This is the Uodnet Dojo, right? Do you know a boy named Enaka?"
Akane blinked. "Enaka? Odnet Dojo? This is the Tendou Dojo! I've never heard about the name Uodnet before."
"Oh, right! Silly me!" The girl slapped herself on the forehead. "The name should be different, I forgot. Um, by the way, my name is Amnar. Amnar Emotoas. And who are you?"
"Um, I'm Akane. Akane Tendou!"
"Ah, I see! Tendou! Of course the name isn't Uodnet. After all, this is a completely different reality."
Akane was confused. This was getting stranger and stranger by the second. "What do you mean, different reality?"
"Um, I really shouldn't tell too much people, but... I'm from a different reality than this one. As I've been told, everyone who lives in my home reality exists here too, but with a different name. For some reason, the names are spelled backwards here. Really strange... I mean, come on: According to this rule, my last name should have been 'Saotome', if this were my home reality. Don't you think that's a strange name?"
"And you don't think that 'Emotoas' isn't any stranger?"
Amnar blinked. "No, of course not!"
Akane had to think about that.
Then she asked:
