The Visitor through the Roof: A Cup of Tea and some Explanations [Episode 165589]

by Shritistrang

"Well, you see..."

In that moment, Kasumi took a look into the dojo.

"Akane, do we have a guest... Oh, Ranma, it's only you! My, that's a nice dress you're wearing!"

Amnar blushed and said: "Um, thank you very much, but my name is Amnar, not Ranma!"

"Oh! My apologies, then! Are you a friend of Akane? My, you certainly look exactly like her fiance."

"Actually, I only landed here by accident. I was in that plane and, you see..." Amnar sighed and looked at her feet. "Well, it's really a long story."

"Oh, then I'm going to make some tea and you can tell us your story while we drink some. Would you like a cup?"

Amnar smiled. That girl certainly was nice.

While Amnar followed Kasumi into the house, Akane only blinked.

"Hey, did you forget about me?" She hurried after them.

-----

Some time later, the three girls were sitting together in the Tendou living room and were drinking some green tea. Make that four girls, as Nabiki was there too. She was really interested in the story this female Ranma had in store.

Amnar was sitting next to Akane. Her strange-looking staff was standing in a corner of the room, next to a little bag which contained some of the inter-dimensional traveler's belongings.

Akane looked around the room. "Where are daddy and Mr. Saotome?"

Kasumi smiled. "Oh, I think grandfather Happosai has taken them on a training trip. He said something like 'his students were slacking off', so he was going to train with them a little."

Nabiki snickered. "I bet daddy didn't go on this journey voluntarily."

Amnar put down her teacup. "Thank you for the tea, Kasumi! It's most delicious. Exactly how my dear mother used to make it."

Kasumi beamed. "Oh, I'm glad you like it!"

Akane leaned forward a little. "Now, Amnar... will you tell us why you are here?"

Amnar nodded. "Yes, although you will find some parts of my story hard to believe."

Nabiki snorted. "I think you would have a hard time finding something that we wouldn't believe, after all that has happened in our neighborhood."

And so Amnar started explaining.

----

"As one should see, I'm Japanese like my mother. But since her father was German, she lived in a little town in Germany. I was born in Tokyo, but when I reached the age of five, we were moving to Germany, into her old hometown. You know, I never got to know my father. My mother told me he died before I was born. But my story really started on my thirteenth birthday.

I knew for several years that my mother was suffering from a terrible illness. No one of the doctors in the hospital could help her... she was going to die soon, both her and me knew that. But it was on my birthday when she first told me who she really was and what she was supposed to do.

She was a Sailor Senshi! And not just any Senshi, she was the guardian of time and space, Sailor Pluto! She told me that she was searching for her princess, the princess of the moon. But she could not continue her search because of her illness. She would die and therefore fail her mission. So she told me everything and made me the new Sailor Pluto. The staff I'm carrying with me is the key to the Gates of Time, but I still haven't learned how to use it. But she told me I would know how to do it, when the time is right.

She also told me I should search for the rest of the Senshi, the guardians of the princess. She told me to start my search in the Juuban district in Tokyo. She also told me that I still had a living relative: My grandfather, who I never heard from before. She said he would live in Juuban. And that was more or less the last thing she ever said to me.

Because on the next day... she died...

Because I'm not an adult yet (I'm sixteen), the authorities wanted me to live in a foster home for children and teenagers, but I wanted to fulfil my mother's last wish and live with my grandfather in Japan. So one night, I snuck out of the foster home with everything my mother left me (which is not much). She also left me some money and a plane ticket to Japan.

I went to the airport and managed to get on the next plane to Tokyo, but that's when things really got ugly.

There was a man on the airplane, dressed in a trenchcoat. He sat in the seat behind me, so I didn't see him first. But I noticed him very soon, as he tried to kill me.

I only managed to evade his knife because one of the other passengers shouted a warning. I stumbled out of the way and fell down on the floor. In the last second, before he could strike me again, I clutched onto my mothers staff and wished with all my might to be somewhere else.

That's when a bright light surrounded me. The assassin, the airplane and the passengers all vanished before my eyes... but I think it was me that vanished, and when I re-appeared, I was directly above the roof of your dojo."

----

"And then..." Amnar told Akane as she finished her story. "I fell down! Right onto your head!"

The three sisters had listened to Amnars tale, eyes and mouths wide open. That was quite a story.

"So..." Nabiki said after several minutes. "What are you planning to do now?"

Amnar looked down. "I really don't know!"
