The Ranma that got out was shorter, with spiky hair, a tail, and a puzzled expression.
When the Guide got out a mirror, he wasn't expecting the reaction he got.
"Oh. So?" asked Goku.
"RANMA! You shrunk!" said an alarmed Genma.
Goku used his little finger to get water out of one ear. "Did I? So I did. Well, I guess I need new clothes."
The Guide got a teapot and tried to change Mister Customer back, but the water he's seen boiling in the spring had the reaction he had half-expected. Mister Customer didn't change back with hot water. "Oh this very bad."
"Very bad?" asked Goku, still a bit confused.
"Mister Customer must never ever look at full moon," cautioned the Guide. Not that he'd read those manga. Certainly not. It would be very improper... okay how much entertainment do you suppose there WAS in this valley.
"Why not?" asked Genma.
"VERY bad," said the Guide. "VERY dangerous."
"Some sort of secret technique?" asked Genma. "Well then. TA DA!"
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" shrieked the Guide, running towards his hut as if that would save him.
Goku blinked at the picture of a full moon that Genma had pulled out of nowhere. "Huh? Where'd you get that?"
Genma blinked, looked at the picture, then back at the transformed Ranma. "Nothing? Well, that's a disappointment."
"GEK!" said Goku. th-thump
"Eh?" asked Genma, thinking Ranma looked more dazed and clueless than ever.
"GURK!" said Goku. th-thump... th-thump
"Ranma?" asked Genma.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr," growled Goku. th-thump-th-thump-th-thump
"Ranma? Is this the special technique?" asked Genma, pressing the full moon picture practically against the short boy's nose.
Cologne put down her teacup. There was a strange disturbance, a feeling of doom and... stupidity? Could it be Happosai having returned?
