Much of the valley had been crushed under a single footstep. Old springs had been obliterated, with a single new spring formed in place of them.
Jusenkyo Spring Of Dai Kaiju. Very cursed spring that the Guide was trying to find ways of filling in. It was going to take awhile though.
"OH! Guide's back not up to this," complained the Guide. "Maybe should ask Amazon Village for help? No, better not."
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" SPLASH
The Jusenkyo Guide turned in time to see the ripples in the water. "Guide have very very bad feeling about this."
Bubbles began popping the surface, starting small and getting rapidly larger.
"Guide have VERY bad feeling about this."
Water cascaded up, breaking on the form of a simply HUGE turtle.
"AHhhh. Hot water. Where did Guide leave water cannon? There!"
"KREAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" declared the turtle, retracting arms and legs into its shell and beginning to spin.
"Oh heck, Guide going to get under cover."
The giant turtle quickly gained altitude, moving fast enough that it pulled a swirling column of water into the air behind it. Water began raining down about the time the Guide's door closed behind him.
Of course, it being Ryoga, there were some unplanned course corrections.
CRASH! "MY CITADEL!"
BOOM! "MY MOUNTAIN!"
CRUNCH! "AIYAHHH! Giant turtle crush 1st Prize!"
Ryoga/Gamera discovered he could up his speed. NOW he'd get to Tokyo. He just KNEW Ranma had gone back there, escaping righteous vengeance again!
BLAM! "Crikey!"
THOOM! "I pity da fool that messed with my truck!"
WHANG! "Merde!"
BOOM! "Aw man, we just got done fixing the Tokyo Tower from the LAST monster sighting."
Sailor Moon stood before Gojira, flanked by her Senshi. She tried to look Gojira in the eye, but that was kind of difficult. "HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!"
Ranma was wondering how he could salvage this situation. He was home, but he had no clue how to change back and wasn't too sure about how to keep people from attacking. There was someone trying to talk to him though, but it was kind of hard to hear one person. He decided the best bet was to get close and then lean closer, maybe he could hear what this gal was trying to say.
The cameramen filmed wildly as they snuck closer. Blow this shot and their careers were FINISHED, their resumes would forever include the biggest failure in telejournalism EVER. Make it, and they would be on the gravy train for LIFE.
Sailor Moon took an involuntary step backwards as Gojira stopped and then crouched and began leaning closer and closer.
"It's kind of like a slow motion avalanche," said Sailor Mercury, currently peeking from behind Sailor Jupiter.
"Why is everyone behind me?!" not unreasonably asked Sailor Jupiter.
"Not everyone," said Sailor Venus, who was behind Sailor Moon. "I've got to hold her up!"
"I think my knees just gave out," said a very very scared Sailor Moon, clutching her Moon Rod in front of her.
"Where are Luna and Artemis when you actually NEED advice?" complained Sailor Mars, who WAS hiding behind Sailor Jupiter.
"Uhm, uhm, hi," said Sailor Moon, her knees knocking together as a head much bigger than her own drew nearer. "Uhm. Uhm. Ahhh. We really don't want to fight you."
"Amen," said Sailor Mars.
"Just because he's big don't make him bad," said Sailor Venus. "Right, Jupiter-chan?"
"He looks smaller on the TV," noted Sailor Jupiter, her mind beginning to go [TILT]. She was being compared to him?! She didn't see the resemblance!
"So, uhm, how about you not destroy Tokyo, and then..." said Sailor Moon, trying to think of some course of action that didn't involve her being smooshed into jelly or fried by radioactive breath or something else painfully fatal. "We can be friends! Whatta ya say?"
Sailor Moon had a brief moment of absolute panic as she realized she had just held her hand out to GOJIRA. This could be a mess! He could swallow her and her entire team with one bite!
Ranma had very little idea about what was going on, and his experience with the female gender wasn't exactly extensive. Still, this DID give him a potential means of not being constantly attacked.
Slowly and carefully, Ranma put one "finger" out to touch the outreached hand of the cheerleader with the weird hairstyle.
