The Two Harrys: Meeting [Episode 166944]

by Disruptor

Harry looked at a small slip of paper that he received from Sirius. He turned the slip over in his hands and felt a tear run down his cheek.

"Why am I here? Why didn't Dumbledore hand me over to Sirius? He's my godfather. He should have been the one to raise me, not my aunt or uncle" Harry softly asked Hedewig.

The white owl just gave a noncommittal hoot.

Harry took down a piece of paper and started writing a letter.

Dear Sirius,

Why did you allow Dumbledore to put me in this hell called the Dursley home?

As my godfather, it was your right and responsibility to raise me.

I'm not accusing you; I just want to know why.

Harry.

"I probably won't get a response. I'm not getting any letters back from my friends," Harry muttered.

Harry gave the note to Hedewig and sent her off to Sirius. He looked at an old book that he found at Flourish and Blotts, describing wizard families that had broken ties with the Wizardling World. The last page of the book had a spell written down that would transport someone in mortal danger to one of the Lost Families.

'I might as well learn it. Who knows?' Harry thought with a snort, as he put the ratty old book in his jacket pocket and hid his wand up his sleeve.

Harry stood up and headed downstairs. His Uncle had insisted that he weed the garden today, despite the implicit threat of Harry's godfather showing up and the fact that it was damp from last night's rain. Harry frowned, as he exited the house. For some reason, Dudley was smiling very oddly when he went outside. Harry shook his head and looked at Petunia's garden.

'I guess I'll have to pull each blade of grass out one by one.'

As Harry went to work on the garden, he had the bad feeling that something was going to happen. He was correct. An oversight on Dumbledore's part was going to come into play. Albus Dumbledore had warded the house against any advances of Voldemort via a blood protection spell. He had threatened the Dursleys into allowing Harry to grow. There was a squib watching for any sort of magical assault on Harry. The great wizard Albus Dumbledore forgot something about Dudley. Dudley was a bully and bullies usually travel in packs.

"Hey! Potter!" a voice sounded from behind Harry.

Harry turned around and saw three of Dudley's larger lackeys. Harry swallowed heavily, as he saw all three of them had very nasty smiles on their faces. One of them had also brought a cricket bat with him.

The one with the cricket bat stepped forward and Harry recalled his name was Bart.

"I don't know what you have on Dudley's parents to stop giving you what you deserve, but that makes no difference. We'll be taking up the slack and to make sure you respect your betters, especially Dudley," Bart said, while tapping the bat in the palm of his hands.

'If I use magic, I'll be expelled and sent to Akazaban,' Harry thought, as his face paled. 'If I don't, I'm going to be beaten up.'

Harry felt the cricket bat smash across his back and drove him to the ground. The other two bullyboys started kicking Harry and they were wearing boots. As the pain from the beating intensified, Harry focused on the spell he learned from the old ratty book and started chanting. The three thuggish friends of Dudley were surprised when they lost track of Harry Potter during their little beat down on him.

===========

In the United States, another Harry who was also a wizard was rubbing the Ring of the Black Dragon that he had acquired to access his family's heritage. He recalled the feeling he had when he had fully accepted his family's birthright as wizards.

'Like Donovan said, there's no turning back. I'm now part of a larger world. Ever since I met Felicia and got involved in the Darkstalkers War, I've been tossed into dangerous situations,' Harry Grimorie thought with a smile. 'Dangerous? Yes. But, I enjoy being friends with a lot of the Darkstalkers. I still have to convince Donovan that not all Darkstalkers are evil. At least he's not threatening to kill Felicia anymore and he has no desire to mess with Hsien Ko. The again, Hsien Ko is also a hunter.'

Harry was shaken out of his reverie when he felt something pinging the wards set up around the house. Wards that were now powerful enough to deflect the transporter beam of Pyron's ship now surrounded his home. He quickly ran to his bedroom door and to the staircase leading downstairs, hoping to keep the magic out of his parents' lives. A flash of red and gold light in the middle of the living room dashed that hope. Janet Grimorie was reading books on archeology and history, while David was reading the paper when the ball of light appeared. The two adults shot to their feet and stared at the glowing sphere, as Harry shook his head. All three Grimorie's were a bit shocked to see a battered and nearly dead boy looking vaguely like Harry Grimorie lying on the ground. The big difference was the color of his hair and the lightning bolt scar on his forehead.

Janet rushed over and saw that the boy was having trouble breathing.

"David, this boy is hurt badly! I don't think he's going to live if we don't get him medical attention now!" Janet shouted.

"Where...?" David began.

"It doesn't matter where he came from or how he got here. He needs attention now!"

Harry Grimorie looked at the boy and sadly shook his head. 'The paramedics won't get here in time. I guess I'll have to blow my cover.'

Harry jumped from the top of the stairs and easily landed near the boy, by using his magic to slow down. He looked at the boy his age and then his hand. Three blue spheres of light appeared in his right hand and he sent them flying out an open window. His parents were a bit shocked by the display that their son had pulled. Harry ignored them and held his hands out in front of him, as a blue glow surrounded his hands and the battered boy.

"Harry?" Janet asked. "How are you doing that?"

"I'm a wizard. I'll explain everything after we save this person's life," Harry replied.

"We?" David asked.

"I can't do this by myself. I've asked three people to show up to help me save him," Harry replied.

"Those balls of light," Janet said.

Harry Grimorie nodded.

A knocking at the door caused Janet and David to look at each other and the front door.

"I was hoping Felicia would get her first, but Donovan can help until the other two arrive," harry muttered.

Janet went to the door and opened it. She saw a man with prayer beads wrapped around his torso, a strange dress or skirt around his waist, a brown and red fedora, and a very large black sword was strapped to his back. A young girl was sitting on the man's shoulder.

"Donovan? Get in here! I need help!" Harry called, as he looked up from the battered boy.

"Mrs. Grimorie, I hate meeting you under these circumstances, but your son requested my help," Donovan said.

Janet cautiously stood aside and let the man inside. Donovan set the girl down that was riding on his shoulders.

"Amanda, please stay out of way," Donovan said to the little girl.

Donovan went over to Harry and saw the boy who was lying there. He shook his head and added his strength to Harry's. What appeared to be a young woman wearing Chinese funeral robes flew through the wall without damaging the structure of the house.

"I received you message, young wizard," the woman said.

"Hsien Ko. You serve the Mother of Mercy," Harry said. "You should know some healing magics."

Hsien Ko nodded. "You are correct and I see who you want me to help."

Shortly after the Chinese ghost showed up, a small white cat jumped in through the window. Harry spared the cat a glance mixed with amusement and resignation.

"You might as well change Felicia. After we save this person, I'm going to tell my parents the whole story," Harry said in a strained voice. "Get the first aid kit."

The cat changed into a woman with blue hair and white fur tactically making the woman appear to be wearing a furry swimsuit much to the Grimorie's shock. Felicia ran to the bathroom and pulled the first aid kit from the linen closet.

"How bad is it?" Felicia asked.

"Very bad. We just removed the rib that had poked through his heart and repaired the heart. We're right now forcing the blood out of his lungs, so he won't drown in his own blood. He has a mild concussion, a broken left arm, five dislocated ribs, bruising all up and down his body, and someone ripped off all his fingernails," Harry Grimorie stated, with a feeling of revulsion in his voice.

"Ouch! Darkstalker?" Felicia said.

"No. The magic that we sense is from him. This is the work of non-magical humans," Hsien Ko replied.

Felicia spotted a wooded rod sticking out of the sleeve of the right jacket and quickly removed it. The cat-woman looked at the stick in shock.

"He's a wizard like you, Harry," Felicia said.

"Not quite. He uses a wand. Harry and I have no need of it," Donovan said, as sweat formed on his brow.

Felicia slowly removed the shirt and started bandaging the torso up. Janet Grimorie quickly joined Felicia in helping patch the boy up. The three people pouring energy into the battered boy stopped glowing and lowered their hands.

"He's going to be sore for the next couple of months and we're too exhausted to repair his fingernails," Harry Grimorie said.

He looked at the boy who was waking up and then his parents. Felicia, Hsien Ko, and Donovan moved the boy to the couch. The boy with the lightning bolt scar looked around fearfully.

"Don't worry, you're safe here," Harry Grimorie said. "Mom? Dad? I guess I should tell you how I met these people and how I know I'm a wizard."

David Grimorie nodded. "Yes. I think that is wise. All of you sit down. I want to here this and I'm sure my wife Janet does as well. I'm David Grimorie. Since this is probably going to be a long story, what do want to drink?"

"On the behalf of all four of us, thank you for your hospitality," Felicia said. "I drink milk."

"Amanda and myself drink fruit juices," Donovan said.

"We have cherry Kool-Aid," David said.

"That'll do. Thank you," Donovan said, as Amanda jumped up on his lap.

"You're hospitality honors me. Water is fine for me," Hsien Ko.

David nodded and went into the kitchen. He quickly returned with eight clear plastic cups on a tray. One of the cups was filled with water. One was filed with milk and the rest were filled with cherry Kool-Aid.

"We're keeping our wits about us," David explained to his wife, when she saw the drinks. He handed the injured boy two small pills and smiled. "I would say aspirin, but I'd be lying. My son is allergic to the stuff. It's a different kind of painkiller. Now then son, I believe you have a story for us? Your mother and I will freak out later."

Harry Grimorie the current wizard of the Grimorie family. Heir to the power of Elijah Grimorie and direct descendant of Merlin took a deep breath and started explaining the Darkstalker War and how he got dragged into it.
