Zilla rose from the ground, shouldering aside a boulder, and then scratched his head. While an interesting and fast method of travel, how could you tell where you were going?
trickle, trickle, FLOOOSH!
MousseZilla tumbled around briefly, choking on water before he remembered he could breathe underwater, then got himself under control and exited to the side. Well, at least he was close to the village. It was just downhill from here.
"Guide really really have bad bad bad BAD feeling about this," said the Guide in Japanese.
"It okay, Uncle," said Tro-Bal in the same language. "We just have to find out where water went."
"I agree with the Guide," said Cologne as all the Springs dried up as far as the eye could see. "This does not bode well."
Kiima looked down at the empty basin. "Okay, someone's going to pay for this."
"The sacred waters of Jusendo are gone? How could this happen?" asked one of her underlings.
"Check Jusenkyo," advised Kiima.
"GRUNK! GRUNK!" declared MousseZilla, warning people of the wall of water heading their way.
"Oh look Bu Fi, another kaiju," said one of the Amazons.
"Yeah, I... TIDAL WAVE!" said Bu Fi, her hair standing up as she realized what she was seeing beyond the kaiju.
Since they were inland as much as they were, and in the mountains besides, the Amazon Village did not have a warning gong for tidal waves. Therefore there were a lot of Amazons staring as the wave approached.
