Setsuna's Fault: Time Enough For Dog [Episode 168231]

It was a big dog with even bigger paws. The fur was thin at the hindquarters to about halfway up the ribcage. Thicker fur almost looked like a lion's mane except it extended along the backs of the forelegs. There was even a tuft at the end of the tail that kind of resembled a flame with the coloration.

As it was, Setsuna estimated the dog weighed somewhere around one hundred and fifty pounds. Maybe a little more.

BIG doggie.

"Wurf," said the dog, looking back at where Minako and Artemis had gone.

"Ah, don't worry about it," said Ranma, patting the fellow on the side of the neck. "I'm sure we'll meet again."

"Wurf?" said the dog, switching his attention to the person watching them on the other side of a temporal discontinuity.

"Whatcha looking at boy?" asked Ranma.

The dog cocked his head, ears erect (or at least one ear erect, the other flopped) as if trying to decide that himself.

It being a Ranmaverse where magical beings were running around, and with time travel getting involved, the dog was of partially magical heritage. A shiisa.

The dog smacked its jaws, sending droplets of saliva out in doggy fashion, then trotted to catch up with his master.


Sailor Pluto watched, certain that a dog that big was a menace to Crystal Tokyo. Or at least mooncats that crossed its path. Surely that was why Artemis had those bandages.

Still, it looked like Ranma was perfectly normal and unlikely to cross paths with any more Senshi.
