Rei frowned and held her spirit wards at the ready. "It doesn't matter how. We just need to find it."
"Is it that dangerous?"
"I didn't look like it was," Minako murmured.
"We can't know if it was dangerous or not," the shrine priestess told them. "But we can't take the chance."
"You don't know?"
"Listen, the stories about these sorts of things aren't always so clear. For all I know, it could just want to play with children."
"Then there's no problem, right?" Hotaru asked.
"It could also be like a pirana, and want to eat as much human meat as it physically could."
Usagi's expression twisted for a moment, but then a thought hit her, and she began to look hopeful. "We can say that it isn't a tiny yoma then, right?"
"Actually.... If I didn't know any better, I'd have to say that it looks like a... yosei...."
"It does look like one out of a storybook..."
The other Senshi couldn't help but agree with that observation, but there were other things that they had to worry about... like letting it get away. It was a strange little being, and the idea of simply allowing something that had popped up when they were zapped to another universe get away didn't seem to be the sort of move to make. Besides... it was pretty, and there was an inherent desire to admire the cute little thing.
Okay, so they were warriors of love and justice who'd fought alien monsters and plots to destroy humanity, but they were still teenaged schoolgirls.
Not that the yosei wanted to be caught. Having strange humans who seemed to have something additionally odd about them made for some trouble that she didn't want to get into. It was entirely possible that they were not going to do nice things to her, and she darted around every obstacle that she could find. That meant going around people, but that was fine by her, as none of them seemed to be angry enough to chase her. But she needed to find a place that she would like to rest and hide from them, and would be somewhere they were not likely to go in after her.
And there was one likely place right in front of her.
That was why a boy blinked as a small girl with butterfly wings popped up in front of him before she slid right in under the collar of his shirt. His eyes popped wide open, and he stared as he saw a tiny lump slide around under the fabric covering his chest. Had he been able to, he would have been trying to yank her back out, but he was too busy wriggling around and trying to keep up with where she was. After all, a few movements took her a bit too close to the waistband of his pants for his sense of comfort.
Seeing the pigtail wiggling about as the boy freaked out, Ami slid to a stop and found that she couldn't stop her jaw from dropping open. "It couldn't be him...."
"He looks just like...." Hotaru gasped as got a good look at his face.
All Ranma Saotome could do was to wonder why the little winged girl had chosen his clothing to hide in, while:
