Setsuna's Fault - 108 Stars: A Fixer-Upper [Episode 168318]

It wasn't a particularly big country, and it lacked resources that might entice another country to invade. Or so most of those associated with the nation had thought.

They hadn't expected to be invaded. They had treaties and agreements, some dating back several centuries. While they traded wood and fruit, they were not especially involved in international trade and they certainly weren't a player in international politics. They were neutral and stayed that way in every conflict. Don't get involved, mind your own business, don't bother anyone.

Troops had come in, stolen everything not tied down, driven the bulk of the populace off to be slaves, killed those who wouldn't cooperate, and generally made things miserable.

Enter a traveller who set his carrisack down inside a building of the deserted Governer's house and threw the hood of his cloak back.

"Aw man, this sucks," said Ranma.

The stone mansion, apparently predating the town itself, was the only building largely untouched by the wave of destruction that had come down upon it.

After two hours of searching, Ranma came up with a few oddiments that had not been looted or destroyed. There was a bed, though he had to toss the sheets into some kind of water pipe/basin primitive washing machine thing.

A town without people, the clothes he had on him, a few supplies like his toothbrush, and a box that had been in his carrisack.

Grumbling, Ranma found he had ten coins, and dutifully put two coins in the slot.

current goals:
1. Acquire additional supplies and equipment.
2. Recruit personnel for your town and as many of the 108 stars of destiny as possible.
3. Find those responsible for the downfall of your community and deal with their treachery.
4. Other goals will be acquired during course of adventure.

Ranma frowned and scratched his head. Then he just shrugged. Oh well, it beat being destroyed - which was what that crazy woman had apparently wanted to do. Still '108 Stars Of Destiny'?

His father he buried. It wasn't Genma though. Some guy he'd never met. Except that he kinda remembered him. Not a very good father though, a big wheeler-dealer.

Ranma thoughtfully unfolded a map that had been in his inventory, then looked it over.
