However, that would not be just simply a mission to rescue one foolish tomboy. There was likely to be a ton of guards to deal with, and it wouldn't be a mere contest of skills. Rather, it was a time when he'd be only beating them up so that they would not be in his way. Of course, he could simply allow the kidnapped people to help him out, but the idea wasn't to get them into a fight, but to save them from their captors.
Much as he might like to let the kidnapped people lay down some punishment on those jerks, he didn't think that keeping them where they could be caught again would be a good idea.
If he was going to save those people, and rebuild this land, he was going to need help. A group attack would do well against the raiders, and some sort of help would be welcome in rebuilding the mess that had once been a city. He was well aware of the fact that he wasn't exactly a carpenter, a politician, or a shop owner. So, he didn't doubt that he was going to need help.
By what he could tell, the temple of the Dawn Fire sounded like the best place to do that. The place was close enough to get to quickly, which would keep more problems from stacking up too fast, and from what he remembered, the place had some special things going for it. Besides, he could go through them to contact other people for help, and that would make it easier on his limited resources.
He just had to hope that he could get there fast enough to not give himself more headaches to deal with later.
