Forgetting for the time being that she was a smuggler, and an escaped slave, and in the current system set up by such a paragon of virtue such as Ysanne Isard would be full of graft and corruption.
Akane was ushered into an office shortly after arrival, when the front desk trooper had gotten paged on something she hadn't been able to hear.
Still, at the core she was Japanese, and trusting in authorities such as the police was engrained into her, so perhaps she could be forgiven for yet another colossal blunder.
Her first warning was a sudden chill down her spine. The second warning was the voice.
"So, fair pilot, you have... lost something."
Akane closed her eyes, offering a quick prayer that this was not who she thought it was.
As he sat behind the massive desk that proclaimed him to be Director of the local Coruscant Docking Authority, Akane wondered how much further into the negative her score had gotten.
Tatewaki Kuno smirked at her across the table, wearing an Imperial uniform that had a lot of those odd buttons to signify accomplishments or rank or something.
"Ah, yes, but I see that you're busy," began Akane.
"Nonsense," said Major Kuross. "I believe we have something to discuss-"
