"Oh but I'm sure it is," said Major Kuross, pressing a button on his desk.
The Corellian shook her head. "No, I think I really shouldn't have come here..," she told him as the door slid open behind her. She tried to back out through the opening, but the muzzle of a blaster rifle pressing into her back stopped her in her tracks.
"I don't think that you will be going anywhere, do you?" he said as a quartet of stormtroopers surrounded her.
Her reply was an eloquent glare.
"Oh come now. I expected more from Akane Tenso."
"Wha... You know who I am?"
"But of course. You are the person who's going to make me a rather large amount of credits."
"What are you talking about?"
"The reward. Your owners want you back, and they are willing to pay handsomely to do so." Kuross shrugged. "I can't say that I blame them. To have a child not only help in the escape of a group of slaves, but to elude them for so long?"
"I am NOT going there!"
"Yes, you are. It is quite simple. You go to the slavers, and I get the payment. Now if you'll follow me."
She would have disagreed, but a nudge from a blaster told her that it would be a bad idea. They went down to a corridor with a bunch of dark doors and stopped in front of one.
The Major reached down and took her blaster from her belt as a trooper opened the door. "You won't be needing this."
"Why you lousy..."
"Words... Now if you'll step inside..."
A stormtrooper took the decision from her and shoved her into the room, if one could call it that. Basically four walls and a bench/bunk attached to one wall, all in the same dark colors, it was not much to look at. Nothing but a simple cell. "You can't do this!"
"Who says?" Kuross told her from the doorway, "Isard is more concerned with dealing with the Rebels and keeping the Empire together. She wouldn't care about a little transaction like this. But don't worry. You won't be here for long."
As the door slid shut, Akane went over to it and started banging on the heavy metal, not that it did much. Instead, all she got was silence and a sore hand. She stepped back and sat hevily on the bunk trying to figure out what to do. It would NOT be good to let those slavers get her. So she was stuck looking for a plan. And when she came up with one,:
