Volcano Girls: Recall [Episode 16897]

by Thrythlind

Kodachi settled into her own bath, secure in Sasuke's assurances that all security measures were being taken, and in her own sense of when danger was about.

In such a state she took a moment to consider what had occured the day before.

Almost immediately Kumobara had released a veritable stream of webbing at Tarou as Cheng-Huang backed away.

Tarou noted Kumobara's location, clinging to the wall of a building and let his fist be entangled. Immediately afterward he had pulled, taking a chunk of the building along with Kumobara. She had released the webline and leaped out of the way just in time to avoid a massive punch and shattered the chunk of concrete she had been standing on.

The rioters, terrified by this massive beast that apparently had no qualm with tossing them about, scattered from the area and watched as the two heroines faced off against the monster that had appeared in their midsts.

They had been considering moving around the fight to continue their pillaging in the name of their lord.

Then the earth began to shake, and they had other concerns on their mind.

As the streets began to clear, Cheng-Huang moved in to strike the beast with a very basic technique. One well-known by most women and feared by most males. The minotaur creature released a pained roar as Cheng-Huang again backed out of range.

Kumobara frowned under her mask, if they were going to be facing such opponents regularly, perhaps Cheng-Huang should add some ranged capability to her arsenal. In the meantime they had to make deal with what they had.

Cheng-Huang dodged to the side of another train-powered punch and sent as strong a kick as she could into the beast's arm pit. Then another stream of webbing passed over the creature, encircling him into a tight, firm mesh.

"It appears as though he's escaped his keepers," Kumobara quipped. "Perhaps we should send him back to the pound?"

Cheng-Huang snickered in response, and wondered why Tarou-monster was snickering himself. Then he flexed his hand, and released a stream of dark ink over the webbing, laughing all the while as the net dissolved.

Kumobara and Cheng-Huang ceased laughing and set to getting ready for the fight as Tarou was freed and rushed inward at them. Cheng-Huang, on the ground, easily avoided the charge as her friend took other steps to end the fight.

A line of webbing snaked outward and latched up a piece of upturned concrete. Almost immediately there after it was slung at Tarou's bestial head, though Tarou was able to dodge the attack.

Tarou was much tougher this time around, rufusing to make the same mistakes he had previously. The novice heros half-wondered if it was Tarou at all and not some killer robot made to look like the beast.

A spray of webbing blinded the beast for Cheng-Huang to work in several powerful attacks. And then the surprisingly fast beast had rushed Kumobara, who had nearly allowed herself to feel secure in her position.

The bull-creature just clipped her as she was getting out his way. Kumobara was sent spinning into the building, and bounced off dazed and shaking her head. Tarou was so pleased with his success that he almost forgot about Cheng-Huang. Then the Chinese hero attacked as Kumobara was recovering.

Kumobara took advantage of her opponent's breach of attention and rushed forward eagerly to slam her fist into Tarou's kidney. Tarou groaned angrily and swung his massive arm about, scattering the two heros away.

All three combatants, each worse for the wear, looked about and prepared to continue the fight. And then the sound of police sirens caught Tarou's attention and he turned to glare at them.

"I'll see you later," was the clear message in his eyes. It wasn't that he couldn't handle the police...but he didn't think that he could handle the heroines AND the police.

It was becoming quickly obvious that the riot was fading fast due to the heros and villains involved. As a result both Kumobara and Cheng-Huang faded away from the fight, watching to make sure that it was indeed under control before she left.

Kodachi frowned, she'd need to find a way to handle that overgrown big.
