Back at Tokyo III, the vanishing of the three Eva pilots had yet to be noticed. As to what bizarre plot this was by the Wizard to prevent third impact, you'd have to ask the Wizard.
However, the vanishing of the pilots was noticed by at least one being soon enough... a penguin, who was seriously ticked off that the meek boy and the red head alpha female hadn't feed him yet! Where were they anyway!? And his third owner was too hammered to feed him to boot. What was he supposed to do? Feed himself? The nerve.
That was when a strange vortex appeared around the warm water bird.

"Kick-butt monster, kick-butt monster." Asuka chanted as if this would affect things...that was when a Creature was transported to them... Rei raised an eyebrow, Asuka's jaw dropped, and Shinji blinked dumbly.
"PEN-PEN?!" Asuka swore in German. "What is that stupid bird doing here!"
That was something the stupid bird wanted to know himself.
"It appears, your pet, is now our Creature."
"God of Idiots!" Asuka swore. "If you're gonna summon someone else we know here, couldn't you at least summon Kaji!"
Pen-Pen looked directly at them, and recognized them, Pen-Pen didn't know the first thing about video games... but he did wonder why the three humans were floating in the air like that. He did however take notice of the angelic wings and demonic wings that Rei and both Asuka now had respectively, which was more than could be said for Rei and Asuka who hadn't noticed this new attention to their forms in the least. As their spiritual forms, continued to drift from the dogma of their material forms.
