With coconuts exploding and spreading cream that dissolved hair, the Principal laughing, girls ripping uniforms off, guys having hormonally induced cerebral shutdown, the kendo club trying to beat off... lobsters with hair clippers? Well, whatever, they certainly weren't paying attention to Ranma's speech.
Ranma-chan looked heavenward briefly. Those who didn't know him would think he was sending a silent appeal or prayer up at the moment. Those that did know him would realize that this was something else altogether.
He brought the transformation item up and said something lost to those below. Exploding coconuts, screaming girls, yelling principal, chittering lobsters (hey waitaminute - lobsters don't chitter do they?), bellowing kendoists, and even Happosai's death throes were enough to drown out whatever Ranma was saying.
Ranma-chan's transformation sequence occurred, which he figured was just as bad as he'd imagined.
That left her (even though he thought of himself as a him even when he was a she) standing there wearing:
