A 100 Heros To Save Crystal Tokyo: Artemis, the Time Boat, and Ranma et al [Episode 169325]

by Linnara

Artemis of the Moon Kingdom (well, he'd been a full citizen or full subject or whatever it was of the old Moon Kingdom, which had been the center of the old Silver Millenium, where ever his ancestors had come from, and he'd been part of the Neo Silver Millenium - which was the Silver Millenium reborn in many ways even though many things about it were different - from the beginning, so he did tend to consider himself a member of the Moon Kingdom whether the Moon Kingdom actually existed right this minute or not), Advisor to Queens, was Not Very Happy at this particular moment in time.

The Multiverse Navigation Module AKA known as the Time Boat as well as many other names, was quite frankly not the most dependable creations of NSM MagiTech. Or as Luna had put it - It had "prototype" written over all over it, in large front and sparkles to boot.

Not to mention that it was a bit on the small side, and could probably fit in about 5 average adult Terran humans in, maybe 6 or 7 if they squished in sideways.

Well, it couldn't be helped. Artemis sighed. The Magitechs were trying to mock up a more user-friendly version as fast as they could, but - ahh, if only Ami-chan could help them...

Nope and nada, though, all the Inners were locked down in keeping Crystal Tokyo, which was the Capital of the entire Neo Silver Millenium, phased away from the Enemies trying to besiege it.

And poor Small Lady. She'd been with her father when he'd been kidnapped yet again, had obviously tried something drastic, and had ended up in a Crystalline forcefield of some kind that was partially of her own power, partially King Endymion's, and partially something nobody seemed to be able to make head nor tail of. Well alright, so she was (1) Not captured, and (2) Not dying anytime soon, as far as anybody could tell from her Starseed energy patterns, which was a great relief, but on the other hand, she couldn't help them, either.

And of the Outers - Saturn had totally dropped off the radar, Pluto had barely had time to send a much garbled message before communications with the Time Gate had been cut off, and Uranus and Neptune were playing possum with some Enemy forces along with some of the Crystal City Guards and such near Crystal Tokyo-3-CCJ (Capital of Crystal Japan, a state of the NSM), the last time he'd heard.

Ahh, well. No use trying to stall now - time to get this show on the road.

Even if he did feel more like more like a very small and helpless sentient feline then a Advisor to Queens, at the moment...

********************************************

Kunou Tatewaki was feeling quite - pensive, at the moment.

A feeling that he wasn't very used to having, frankly.

He remembered the beautiful matron of his dreams, and sighed. A Queen of a Magical Kingdom, calling for help - his help.

What a nice dream it had been. To walk the Path of the Hero...

And such a beautiful Queen. Her kindness and beauty shone out of her, but just by remembering her face, Tatewaki could tell she was strong. A fighter. Why, she had the look of one who could possibly fight even himself, the Blue Thunder of Fuurinkan, to a standstill...

And no doubt she had many daughters, each one as beautiful and strong as herself. Or nieces. Or at least pretty handmaids and the like, who would no doubt be thrilled to here about his various heroic exploits...

A fighter. Like... Tendo Akane, or the Pig-tailed Red-haired Maiden.

Tatewaki sighed, then. He'd miss them, when he went off to University.

All of them.

"Hey, brother mine, get out of the bathroom already! Why do you have to use the one closest to my rooms, anyway..."

"Because it's closest to mine, too, silly."

Even his sister. Or his father.

**************************

Ranma and Akane ate breakfast as usual, and ran to school - she on the ground, he on the walls and railing.

"You know Ranma, I had this weird dream..."

"Really? Well, me too. Like a computer game, or something."

"Oh, like, you know, a Magical Queen was asking for help?"

"Yep. Not a princess, a queen. Weird, eh? I thought it was the beautiful princess' who were supposed to call for help in those games..."

Akane looked at Ranma, then.

"Did she have odangos on her head?"

**************************

Ryouga was lost as usual, but hardly noticed that, he was so lost in his thoughts.

So was Akari.

"Such a beautiful Queen... And she wants my help... But..."

"Such a beautiful Queen... And she wants my help... But I'm not a hero! Not like Ryouga-kun could be..."

"- You really think so?"

"Of course! Ryouga-kun is my hero, after all - "

They both stopped, and blinked.

It took both of them about 5 seconds to turn around. Akari was just a little faster on her feet, as usual.

"Oh, Ryouga-kun! I was just thinking about you! I had this very strange dream, and - "

Ryouga just glugged.

"A- Akari-san - you're crushing mee..."

**************************

Uncle Genma and Father were playing Shougi as usual, with Auntie Nodoka sipping tea on the porch.

Kasumi sighed.

Such an odd dream, she'd had...

She had no way of knowing that almost everybody in the house was thinking roughly the same thing.

**************************************

A coughing, choking Mau managed to climb out of the odd looking contraption, which looked somewhat like an oversized dounut, at the moment.

Well alright, it hadn't blown up all the way, or even part of the way, and the self-diagnostics said that they should be "shipworthy" ha, ha, in about a day, so -

Artemis sighed, then.

First he had to figure out where he was, and when he was, and on which Timeline he was.

And then...
