He was in Japan, and so he at least didn't have the language problems he might have.
After awakening and stirring in what looked like a hospital room, he'd been noting some odd things at first.
He was wide-eyed and staring though when the door had opened.
"Wow, a REAL human," said a fox-morph with a British accent. "It's so... furless."
"Nyaa, HE is furless," said a cat-morph.
"It's what I said," said the foxboy.
"No, you said IT. He's a he," said the cat-morph. "I'd say he's around first-school age."
"I had no idea you were an expert on the subject," said the foxboy, polishing his monocle.
The catboy sniffed as if disdainful of that remark. "So, what's your name, anyway?"
"Ranma," said Ranma, reaching timidly out.
"I'm Reginald Voorhees Churchill the Third," said the foxboy, straightening and posing in a manner that suggested he was concerned with being proper. "Grand Britain, of course. The catfolk here is Sebastet Pinkerton, also of the British Embassy, and my more quiet associate is Hitomi of the Japanese caninfolk."
Hitomi nodded quietly.
"Quite a stir you're causing," said Reginald. "Everyone's talking about you. Not only a human, but a superhero type as well."
"A what?" asked Ranma, sitting up straighter in his bed.
