Spider-Ken: A Diverting Diversion [Episode 170208]

"Ami Mizuno. The only one I can match wits with where I don't feel that I'm picking on a cripple," said the Brain drily.

"Oh?" asked Pinky, looking over a device that looked like a rice cooker with extra hoses and such added.

"Indeed, her consistent scores in exams, her high intelligence, and her choice of pseudonyms to compete under - all clues," said Brain, gesturing dramatically. "Ah. This feeling. To actually have a rival to draw out my considerable powers of intellect."

"What kind of feeling is it? Like a hangnail? NARF!"

"Uhm, no, Pinky. Rather more like an upswelling of creativity and desire to dominate the competition," said the Brain.

"Oh, like this?" asked Pinky, holding up a magazine.

"'Leather Erotica Ltd'?" asked the Brain. "Clearly Professor Tomoe is more twisted than I thought."

"Actually I don't think it would fit him," said Pinky, pointing to the picture in question.

The Brain closed his eyes and rubbed his face with one hand. "This wasn't quite the sort of domination I have planned for my rival."

"So you've sent the message out," said Pinky, opening the false paving stone that led to their access tunnel. "What's next, Brain?"

"Hmmm," said the Brain. "Let's cover our tracks, shall we?"

"How's that, Brain?" asked Pinky, closing the door back up.

"It's a pity we have to be quiet here, otherwise the desire for diabolic laughter would be too much to bear," said the Brain. "I think a little experiment is in order."
