And Sailor Pluto, AKA Meiou Setsuna, was Not Pleased With The Situation.
Well, neither of them were, actually.
"You broke your Time Gate. You broke your Time Gate. What the fuggling moogles, Sailor Pluto?"
"Considering..."
The Pluto who looked considerably worse for wear paused, coughing and patting her slightly torn skirt.
"Considering that if I - and a couple of other me's, I suppose - hadn't done what we did, this Timeline probably wouldn't even exist..."
The other Pluto watching her sniffed.
"You don't know that for sure, and anyway, it's a pretty darn strong and stable Timeline string now, whatever it used to be."
"Humph."
Tattered! Pluto sighed, then.
"Well, it's not like this conversation is going to continue for very long any more - I don't think I have any Timelines too go back to any more. The connections seems to be gone, anyway, though I don't know if the Timelines themselves were quite all gone, so - you do know what that means, I hope?"
Not Tattered! Pluto nodded, tightly.
"Well, it still could be avoided if you could find the energy to send me off elsewhere, perhaps?"
"I'd rather not destabilize things more then they have been already, thank you."
Tattered! Pluto nodded to that.
"Alright, then - say, are you going for the 'Crystal Tokyo' scenario, too?"
Not-Tattered! Pluto sighed, yet again.
"It all depends on 'which one', does it not?"
And then there was only the wind.
And one solitary Pluto, standing at the Time Gate...
Who started to laugh.
And if there was something a wee bit maniacal about that laughter... it wasn't like there was anybody else to be bothered by it there, after all...
Saotome Ranma, AKA Lightwings, looked up from his training. Was there something wrong with the temperature controls of the AEGIS training facilities?
"Senpai?"
Hotaru murmured.
Ranma shook his head.
"Nothing, Hotaru-chan."
About the same time, Tsukino Usagi looked up from her cookies and manga for a second.
As did several other people. What was that pricking cold feeling, sliding down their spines, anyway?
So many memories, so much experience.
The newly amalgamated and minted Pluto laughed. Oh, this was fun.
Oh, the "broke her own Time Gate" her had been quite nutty in some ways, she was quite aware of that - well, it wasn't like 'that her' hadn't been aware that she was getting to be a bit too much, deep inside anyhow - but at the very least, you couldn't accuse her of being too passive!
And her knowledge of all those variations of the Senshi and one Saotome Ranma were - pretty damn interesting, to say the least.
Hmmmmmm.
OK, now - that was a novel idea, if she said so herself. She'd have to check to see if it was workable, but...
Pluto rubbed her hands together.
A real, bona-fide solution to the so-called Lightwings Problem? Could this really be?
Well, the only thing she could do was check it out. Right?
