Therefore his father leaving him in that pit where he'd be able to read those scrolls that had mysteriously appeared in his gi was perfectly all right. He just let the kitties eat those sausages and occasionally kicked away the ones that got too close.
Bukuu Jutsu. The single most impressive martial arts manuever his Pop had ever arranged for him to learn. Naturally such a thing should be kept secret and only utilized in the most serious of circumstances.
"YeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee," said Ranma, chasing sparrows through the air.
Genma blew on the scrolls, trying to read the sections of ash as they broke off and fluttered to the ground.
A big fat tear gathered in Genma's eye, trickling down slowly as he looked from the "useless" scrolls to where Ranma was flying around. If he had had this manuever during the Master's training, how much hardship could he have avoided?
"Come on, boy, we've got to leave," said Genma eventually. After all, someone might come looking for their cat.
Three days later, Ukyo stared in wide wonder as her new playmate did things with the martial arts that seemed to defy laws of physics almost contemptuously.
Putting one hand out and bracing that arm with his other hand, Ranma groaned and strained almost as if he was trying to pass a bowling ball. Finally a glimmer appeared in his palm. It went from pinhole to marble sized as she watched, then shot across the park to slam into a tree with the sort of sound you'd expect from a baseball being knocked into the bleachers.
"Damnnnnnnn," said Ukyo, wondering if she could do that.
Ranma was so neat, and he smelled so nice too!
"Heh heh, still need practice," said Ranma, rubbing the back of his head.
"Can I learn that?" asked Ukyo.
