First she'd tried using her ribbon to lasso herself to a pontoon on the seaplane. Then she'd lost the ribbon and been clinging to the pontoon for several hours. Finally she'd been washed off the pontoon when the plane had touched down again. After that, being chased by weird octopus-like creatures, and only escaping with the intervention of a flock of flying turtles - Kodachi had reached the shore of Gonyoo.
Her leotard was in tatters, her various gymnastic weapons were gone (some lost in the trip, others used trying to fight off the octopi) and she was exhausted by the time she stumbled to the shore.
She'd gotten to the shore and collapsed. She'd been found in the meantime.
Waking up in a hospital bed, she felt oddly lightheaded and at peace. This was mainly due to the fact that she'd been medicated, though not by those that had found her. The evil octopi had struck her with a poison needle, but due to some of her habits - her resistance to the drug had been rather high.
The giant evil octopi tried to enslave humans but most of the humans around here knew their weaknesses pretty well and kept jars of pickles around for just such an emergency. The paralysis drugs of the octopi men had been dropped eventually, too many of the humans were either immune or took the antidote regularly. This new drug was a bit of an experiment.
Not finding any sucker-marks on the castaway, the rescuers didn't know that she'd been drugged. They knew from the flying turtles that the octopi were probably nearby, but she didn't LOOK like the octopi had been after her.
Which left Kodachi in a hospital room on the Isle Of Gonyoo, drugged into giggly silliness.
"I must say, you're far more resistant than I would have thought," said Akane, putting away the two alligator clips hooked up to the car battery.
"MMMMMMMMMPH!"
"So you still refuse to talk," said Akane, removing her mask.
"WHMPPHF?! WHMPFF!"
"It gets hot in there," said Akane, wiping sweat off. "Eh? Oh. Now I can't let you live can I? Well, don't worry - I have to leave you alive long enough to tell me what I want to know."
A glass pipette from a chemistry lab was lifted. A finger tapped it thoughtfully.
"MMMMMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! MFFFFFFFFFFF!"
Akane laughed. "Oh, you'll talk. You've given me a challenge now."
