"He what?" Pluto said in the sort of dead voice that one used when one understood what was going on, but was too shocked to admit it.
"He called a group who have gotten together to basically be authorities in what they do. And they do magic."
"It just seemed to be the thing to do," Ranma admitted. "I thought that it couldn't hurt to have some support, you know."
"There is that, but...." Rei began.
"Yes?"
"'Magical beings'?"
He gave her a small smile. "Not everything not human is an evil monster."
"That's good to hear."
"Is something wrong with that?" Minako asked as she spotted their princess looking off into the distance.
"No, it's not," Usagi murmured. "It's just that.... There is a council of people who can use magic?"
"There is," the youngest of the girls confirmed.
"And they're coming to help with this mess?"
"That is the case," the sole male in the room confirmed.
"Then why haven't we talked to them before? And why didn't we see something of them in the future?"
All eyes turned to track Pluto, who's expression had turned into one of shock. "But you're the Princess! You're going to be the Queen! As such, your rule is supposed to be absolute, letting no one else hold the reins of power!"
For a long moment, they stared at the suspended Senshi.
It took the green haired woman almost as much time to realize that she might have made a mistake. "Oh no...."
Ranma took stock of the various disgruntled expressions that the younger girls had, and acknowledged their apparent sincerity as he walked over to the door to let in:
