"USAGI-CHAN?!" asked Naru.
"You two know each other?" asked Ranma.
"Pardon me," said Naru, bowing. "I'm Naru Osaka, apprentice onmyou mystic, representitive of the White Council."
"So THAT'S why the yoma always attack you!" said Ami. "They sense your magical energies."
"Why is Usagi here?" asked Naru.
"She is the one called Sailor Moon," answered Ranma. "I'm Ranma Saotome, largely self-taught mage specializing in rune magic and technomagic."
"Yes," said Naru, bowing again. "I've heard of you. Umino thinks highly of your work."
"UMINO?!" yelped Usagi.
"Well, yes, except his magic doesn't exactly work," said a wincing Naru. "At least not the way he ever intends it. I was hoping Ranma-san could check him out."
"Why are you a representitive of the White Council if you're an apprentice?" asked Ranma. "Nothing personal, but I was expecting someone rather more experienced."

"This is the Crazy Lady?" asked Naru.
"Yes, this is Sailor Pluto - guardian of time," said Rei.
"Sailor Pluto?" asked Naru. "Shouldn't she be affiliated with death, not time?"
"Well, in a way she is," said Ami. "Hence our gathering."
"THIS IS COMPLETELY WRONG! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, RANMA SAOTOME!"
"Can you make more of those Truth Wards, Rei-chan?" asked Ami thoughtfully. "I think they just might be enormously useful."
"They have some limitations," said Rei mysteriously.
"Oh?" asked a suddenly interested Sailor Pluto, her eyes briefly crossing to look at the ward hanging from her forehead.
"So WHY is she meddling with time?" asked Naru.
"To bring about the perfect utopia of Crystal Tokyo, to preserve the sanctity of the timestream, to KILL Ranma Saotome!" answered Pluto.
"She's directly connected to the timestream," answered Ranma. "Something caused a change, the change altered her, so she changed the timestream, which altered her further. I think they call it a 'feedback loop' sort of thing."
"What are you talking about?" asked Pluto, knowing full well that all this was RANMA's presence.
"I did some preliminary scans," said Ranma, handing Naru a computer printout. "Investigative divinations are my specialty."
"I see," said Ami as Naru sat down where she could look over the other girl's shoulder.
"So does the Council have any recommendations?" asked Ranma.
"They do," said Naru. "Their recommendation was:"
