Both of Rei's brows rose until they were almost at her hairline. "They only want to have her go through therapy?"
"Well... there was a lot of talk about what to do with her. Some of the Council thought that she might have even been involved with the Red Court, since they've been able to get information that it's probably easy for the Time Guardian to give them."
"HA! As if I would help monsters!" barked Pluto.
"That was what other members pointed out. Of course, the ones who thought that she might be working with vampires did suggest that she might be putting two enemies against each other. Then there are those guys who just want to whip her for what she's done. Literally. And some even insist that a trial would be the best thing for her, and everyone that she's wronged."
"Doing that would take a while," Ranma murmured. "Why the 'therapy' choice then?"
"No one is all that certain that she's sane enough to understand what would be asked of her. If you can't answer a question, or understand the punishment...."
"It's just more trouble for that person."
"Exactly," Naru agreed.
"So... they take her away and..."
"Put her in a nice little room where she can wear pajamas all day, and take a nice and relaxing breather."
"Sounds good to me," Usagi said softly, unable to look away from the floor in front of her. "If only I had known how to keep this from happening...."
"Why would you have anything to do with her going nuts?"
"Well, I'm supposed to be the leader...."
"The Queen is dead!" sang out the bound Time Senshi. "Long live the Neo-Queen."
"Okay...."
"Wondering what that was, aren't you?" the shrine priestess observed.
"Actually... yes. What's so important about this future that she has to make it happen."
"Usagi's supposed to become the queen of a future Tokyo, and will be the ruler of the world at total peace, basically," Makoto admitted.
Ami's mouth twisted slightly and she sighed. "Except that in Pluto's version of that future, to have a utopia, you have to get rid of anyone who isn't part of the specific group of that future."
"Meaning...."
"Anyone who might have problems or cause trouble isn't invited."
"Mages like us," the White Council representative quietly observed.
"You, and any sort of power that isn't going to flow with Senshi powers completely."
"Then Usagi was supposed to leave me to...."
"There would be no choice," the reincarnated princess stated with a core of steel in her voice.
"I didn't think that you...."
"There is no way that I could actually leave you to be hurt. Ever."
A light blush stole across Naru's features. "Oh...."
"And it's not like we want that exact future," Minako muttered, crossing her arms over her chest.
"What do you mean by that?"
"It's simple. If we let her plan work, then us Senshi would be in Usagi's harem."
Naru glanced over at her old friend and frowned slightly, causing the girl receiving it flush slightly. "Hey, it's not like I want that either."
"I understand. But that's a kind of... odd situation right?"
"Consider the fact that she wanted to kill me to keep me from going to meet these girls," the self taught mage pointed out.
"Which would mean that... it would leave your place open?"
"Pretty much."
"It just doesn't seem to be... logical."
"I don't think that she actually has any sort of connection to 'logic' right now," an unusually focused Senshi of Love put in, throwing a disgusted look at the bound Senshi.
The others took a moment to get over the surprise of a serious answer from her before nodding, while:
