Xelloss grumped, thinking about all the energy he'd spent just trying to Cross Over to this world. Really.
Ahh, well. It couldn't be helped, he supposed. You're a grown-up mazoku, Xelloss, what would Mother think if She saw you grumbling and groaning about something like this?
Not to mention Grand-Mother, AKA the Lord Of Nightmares, creator of a minimum of four universes and probably a couple more, all things considered, since she tended to get bored sometimes.
Oh, just get it over with, Xelloss Mettalium. First, put the substitute in place, and make sure this little caper would actuallly work...
Besides...
Xelloss Mettalium smiled, then.
It had always been his style to try and enjoy even the most boring tasks, after all...
And this one could be made - less boring, could it not?
Oh, yes. All he had to do was use his imagination, after all...
