Once upon a time, there had been a little House-Elf kit, who hadn't been named yet, which was one of the more important things, all things considered.
The other important thing was that he was actually something of a House-Elf version of one Harry Potter, to the extent of actually having parents called Lili and Jamy, both of who had died in a accident-that-wasn't recently. These deaths weren't Xelloss' doing, actually, oddly enough - He hadn't even helped things along, as they'd been dead already when he arrived on this world. The timing had made him think about such things as kismet, though, surely enough.
And it even had some black stubby hair on it's head - some House-Elves did have hair on their heads, after all. And - was that actually some kind of curse-scar of some kind, on it's forehead?
Better and better! Xelloss Metallium smirked, rubbing his hands together.
OK, then, first his appearance, then his aura, and then on to the other things -
A few minutes later, Xelloss looked at the two identical-in-all-ways-that-mattered 'Harry Potter's lying on the ground before him, and grinned. Well, the substitute child would need to be 'fine-tuned' and 'handled' some more later on, probably, but he'd done all that was necessary for now at least.
He stood back and studied his handiwork. All identical, right down to casual Astral scans - really deep Astral scans were another matter, but that couldn't be helped, anyway, in his opinion.
Done and done. Xelloss Mettalium smiled and disappeared from the doorsteps of the Dursley house, the real Harry Potter tightly clutched in his arms.
Though he did stay around the hear Petunia Dursley panic and scream and scare her hubby and son, at least for a little bit.
He was so damn hungry, blast it all. And even the emotions of the baby in his arms - who'd finally started to cry - really didn't do him as much good as it might had, since the stupid brat was too young to understand the concept of death, and couldn't even understand his mother wasn't coming back for ever and ever, after all. And he wasn't even allowed to pinch the wailing thing, to boot!
But orders were orders were orders, and Xelloss Mettalium was good at following those.
In his own way, of course.
Come, now. Even Mother and The Mother Of All wouldn't begrudge him getting a couple of good meals before he tried to go home, right? Especially since Crossing Over took just so much energy at the best of times...
- Next. 'Place the real brat in a suitable place', is it?
Well, well, well. Xelloss rubbed his hands, and gave lil' wailing Harry a good hard look.
This ought to be... Fun.
