[Episode 171643] [Episode 171643]Chibiusa had no chance of escaping the skeletons, as this was a city she was not familiar with... While the buildings and streets were the same as in the universe she had already visited, they were looking totally different, making it difficult for the pink-haired princess to find the right way. Also, in her panic, she totally forgot to use her Senshi powers. And when she remembered them, her hands were already bound behind her back, and her Luna-P as well as her transformation stick have been taken away from the skeletons and given to Rei.
The vampiress smirked and made one commanding gesture, and her undead minions were escorting them to the big, gloomy building that rose over Necro Tokyo, in the place where once Tokyo Tower had been standing...
It was a citadel of darkness, with dark spires that were almost touching the moon, and windows that were shining in a crimson light. They almost looked like evil eyes that were staring down at the city. Flocks of ravens and bats were circling it and their cries sounded like cries of pain.
After entering the tower through the massive main door (which was being made of bones), Chibiusa was being led over countless stairs and passageways, until they finally arrived in the enormous throne room of the dark queen.
The giant throne was made from black obsidian, and it was shrouded in shadows, so Chibiusa couldn't see the face of the person sitting up there.
One of the skeletons pushed her forward so she nearly stumbled down to her knees.
"Step closer," Rei commanded. "Our queen doesn't like to wait."
Chibiusa shivered and obeyed. She approached the throne... and shrieked in shock when suddenly, a mighty, furry beast came leaping out of the darkness.
Before it reached her, however, a strong metal chain that was attached to the monster's leather collar stopped it from coming closer. The brown-furred beast growled and snarled, it's deadly fangs dripping with saliva.
"Now, now... let our guest come closer, my darling," a female voice came from the top of the throne. "We want her to be alive... for now."
The beast growled, but scuttled backwards, until it was crouching next to the throne, still glaring in Chibiusa's direction. Now Chibiusa could see it more clearly: It was a massive wolf-like monster with a long snout that was filled with sharp teeth, a bushy tail and front legs that almost looked like arms... A werewolf?
"That's a good girl, Makoto..." the female voice snickered. "And now, pink-haired stranger, come closer..."
"Makoto?" Chibiusa whispered almost inaudibly. If that vicious... beast was supposed to be her friend Makoto, the strong Senshi and excellent cook, she didn't recognize her. Sure, that strand of fur on her head was similar to a ponytail, and the fur was the same color than Makotos hair, and her eyes were also identical, even if they were gleaming with hatred...
"Makoto..." Chibiusa sobbed as she finally DID recognize her... But, just like Rei, this wasn't her friend anymore...
She walked past the crouching werewolf and walked up the big stairs that led up to the seat of the throne. And when she finally recognized the person sitting up there, she gasped.
It was true, a small part of her had already guessed the horrible truth, but unconsciously, she had hoped that it wasn't true. Even so, she was shocked.
Usagi, queen of Necro Tokyo, looked down at her. Just as Rei and Makoto, she was no human being anymore. Her skin was a gleaming orange, and a pair of massive bat wings were spread behind her back. Although her hands and feet were human, they were being tipped by sharp claws. And wrapped around her waist, she could see the whip-like tail that grew from her behind. Her ears were pointed and two small horns jutted out of her bone-white hair, next to her buns.
The demon queen smiled, and Chibiusa could see her fangs. "Well, who have we here? I can feel that you must have impressive powers within you, little girl, and they are of a sort I thought I would never sense again in my cursed life..." Her eyes narrowed into slits. "The power of the ancient moon kingdom..."
