Hotaru had contacted all of the other Senshi and managed to call a Senshi meeting in her (which means Haruka's parents') house, early in the morning.
Diana was sleeping in little Setsuna's bedroom and woke up early as the little whirlwind of a girl stormed out of bed, eager to start the day. Diana sleepily shook her head. She really was different from her older, mature counterpart.
The first guests came at 10, parking their car in front of the house. It was Ami... and her husband, Ryo Urawa. Diana was surprised to learn that in this reality, Ami was already a young woman, and a doctor, too. Ryo still knew about the Senshi's secrets, as Hotaru told Diana, and his abilities to see into the future have helped them several times.
Coming with them was their daughter... Minako! It was very strange to see a mother-daughter relationship between Ami and Minako while in the reality Diana knew, they were good friends and the same age. Minako was even younger than Setsuna and had an audible lisp when speaking. She was still a lively - and sometimes clumsy - girl, though.
Some time later, Rei and Makoto arrived. While Makoto was also a young woman, nearly as old as Ami, it was Rei's appearance that shocked Diana the most... She was an old woman, streaks of grey being visible in her black hair. Her face was starting to wrinkle, but for a woman of that age, she surely was still in excellent form. With a raspy laugh, she assured Diana that she still was able to kick some evil monster butt.
Later - around 12 - the Chiba family arrived. Usagi, Mamoru and Chibiusa...
The strangest thing was not that Chibiusa was already born in this reality, but that not she was the daughter... Usagi was!
It was kinda funny to see Chibiusa (she was called 'Usa' by her husband and her friends) as a young, adult woman, in the arms of Mamoru... and Usagi (who was only slightly younger than normally) as their daughter.
Setsuna, who had answered the door, led them into the living room. She gestured towards Diana. "See, I told ya! This Diana is much younger than yours, Usa!"
The pink-haired adult stared down at the grey cat. "Diana?" she murmured. "No way... you look like you did when you were young..."
Her blonde daughter Usagi looked puzzled. Her head looked back and forth between Diana and the front door. Curiously, Diana looked past her...
...and looked into her own eyes!
It was very strange. Almost like looking into a mirror, but a mirror that was alive. Also, her counterpart was visibly older than her.
Older Diana looked almost as puzzled as her younger counterpart. "So..." she finally broke the silence. "You're me, huh?"
"I think so," Young Diana replied. "At least a version of you from another timeline... or is that reality? Oh, my head is spinning..."
Usa chuckled. "Yeah, I can imagine! Time travel is irritating enough... but now we're even dealing with a different reality! Weird..."
Suddenly, a high voice shouted: "Mom! Artemis has stepped on my tail again!"
"Well, don't just leave it lying around on the ground like that," another voice replied.
Older Diana smirked and stepped aside to reveal two younger cats... a black female and a white male. "Diana, meet my children: Luna and Artemis!"
"That's so... strange," Young Diana said, freaking out. "In my reality, they're my parents..."
Artemis made a grimace. "Me? Marrying my own sister? Yuck! I didn't need that image in my fragile little mind, thank you very much..."
Luna looked angry. "Are you saying I would never get a boyfriend?"
"Well, I only meant that it would be awkward, since you're my sister... but perhaps you're right: No male cat would be interested in you..."
Luna hissed. "You..."
"Now, children, behave," Older Diana scolded her kids. She grinned at her younger self. "Children... I sure have my paws full with them..."
Young Diana decided not to ask the obvious question: Who is their father?
----
Some minutes later, they were all sitting around the big table in the dining room. Diana saw that Usagi's table manners still were the same as always...
"I'm sorry I can't be a better help," Setsuna said in a small voice. "But I'm still learning to be a good time guardian... and I'm afraid I know nothing about different realities."
"It's all right, dear," her adoptive mother smiled. "Perhaps even your teacher didn't know..."
"Who was her teacher?" Diana asked curiously.
"The previous Sailor Pluto," Makoto explained. "An old woman, I don't know if you know her in your reality as well... her name is Naru! She is even older than Rei, and she decided to leave Senshi business to a younger Senshi, so she placed Setsuna as the new guardian of time."
"But, she can't be at the Time Gates all the time, can she?" Diana asked.
"Nope!" Setsuna shook her head. "Granny Naru decided to look after the gates herself... all the other Senshi duties she left to me! But as I told you, I'm already learning to use the gates."
"Well, perhaps Naru knows something we don't know," Ami spoke up. "I think we should contact her... You can reach the Time Gates easily with your Garnet Orb, right, Setsuna-chan?"
Setsuna nodded and smiled. "Yes."
Ami wanted to say something, but got distracted as someone tugged at her skirt. She sighed. "Yes, Minako honey?"
"Mommy, I gotta go potty..." the blonde toddler murmured. Ami sighed. "Um, okay... Haruka, where are...?"
The blonde teenager stood up. "Come with me, I'll show you the way, Minako!"
"Thankth," Minako lisped.
Diana shook her head. "Can Minako really fight with you? I mean, she surely is very young..."
"Well, of course us older Senshi have to protect her," Makoto smiled. "But she tries very hard and she has already beaten several Youmas by herself."
Ryo nodded. "That's right! I think when she turns into Sailor Venus, her Senshi conscience makes our daughter braver and more observant as she is in her normal form."
"Well, your Senshi group definitely is different from the one I know in my own reality," Diana exclaimed.
