Because there was absolutely, positively, make no bones about it WAY that Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth would be on that lab table.
It was pretty horrifying to her, at least. Not only the presence of Hikaru, but the implications. There would likely be a Fuu and Umi running around. Giant robots? Maybe. Debonair as a villain running around. Quite likely.
Still, there was an obvious solution. "dead scream".
Sailor Pluto reappeared at the Gates Of Time. It was ended. Her shot had collapsed the old building around them, ending any chance of the... wait a minute. That Shinto priest. He was too young to be Rei's grandfather, right?
Or it could be... "RANMA SAOTOME! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"
"Everyone okay?" asked the Ainu shaman, shouldering aside the rubble.
"What a pity those swordwielders weren't present," said Father Ohara.
"What happened to 'live by the sword, die by the sword'?" asked Priest Hino.
"It DOES happen frequently, doesn't it? Those who rely on a particular weapon tend to meet unfortunate ends from those very weapons," said the Catholic priest. "Not as frequently as before antibiotics were developed, but still."
"What happened to Ranma?" asked the Rabbi, expecting the answer to be that the young spiritualist had escaped entirely.
"He attempted to cover the girl on the table, some rubble came down," said the shaman, preparing to offer last rites.
CRASH!
"Impressive," said the shaman, seeing that Ranma had leapt clear from the rubble and was currently clinging to a jagged section of the ceiling that had NOT collapsed.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhh," said the girl with the braided red hair, getting up from the table. "Master?"
