It wasn't too hard to figure that SOMETHING in Ranma's trip had been draconic or had magical power.

Whatever the cause, Ranma was still a martial artist. It was just that he had a few extra tricks up his sleeves (on those occasions when he hadn't lost his shirt) for special occasions.

Ranma had sorcery in his veins. At age eight he had figured out the channelling necessary for some simple spells. Still, for an eight year old boy at the time, it was fairly impressive.

With Electric Jolt he could send a small arc of electricity out over thirty feet. While not powerful enough to do much harm, the monks quickly found a number of scorch marks in odd places that they equally quickly started Ranma on cleaning up.

In the same year, Ranma found himself using Repair Minor Damage to make some of his training exercises (especially those cases where he was fixing things he'd broken) go easier.

At age ten, Ranma was gleefully throwing around Lesser Orb Of Fire. Followed by his using Repair Light Damage to fix what he'd scorched. He had also started manifesting the cantrip Stick for the same reasons he was learning to Repair things.

By age eleven, Ranma was very impressive as a Monk and had raised a few eyebrows with his sorcerous acumen. Battering Ram and Light Of Mercuria had joined Expeditious Retreat, Swift (especially impressive with his current speed as a monk), Mage Hand, Greater, Familiar Pocket, Orb Of Cold, Lesser (the main use Ranma seemed to want to put this to being chilling the cider vat), Amanuensis, and Sonic Snap.
