Akane sighed. She really should have expected this.
"WHHAAAA! My daughter wants more training! WHHAAAA!"
The worst part was, Akane couldn't tell if her father was happy about this, or angry. "Daddy! Please! I just asked what was in them!"
"WHHAAAA! My daughter yelled at me! WHHAAAA!"
Akane glared at her father through half-lidded eyes. "You're doing this on purpose... aren't you?"
"WHHAAAA! My daughter doubts her own father! WHHAAAA!"
Akane really began wondering what happened to her Father and Genma that made them turn out like this. Both kept running from any sort of responsibility, it seemed. Genma had hid behind his curse, her father behind his tears. And she wasn't even angry about this or anything, just curious. Why would her father act like this now?
Ignoring her wailing father, Akane opened the scrolls... only to have them ripped away from her by Soun. "No! You must not!"
Akane had by far enough of that. Moments later, Soun was looking at all the pretty stars, crushed beneath the table. And Akane examined the scrolls...
