Kasumi made what looked like an attempt to bolt out the door, but stumbled weakly into the wall instead. Watching Ranma quickly realized that with the Tendos as the healthiest of the hospitalized girls, they weren't likely going to get out safely with the swarm around them.
"Okay," Ranma said firmly, he rushed to Kasumi's side, helped her up and out the door before moving to get Nabiki and Akane.
"Hey," Nabiki mumbled, not yet recovered from the shock of waking up still not human. "Am I still dreaming?"
"Get Nabiki some coffee," Ranma said, depositing her as gently as he could into the hallway.
"Quick, Ranma," Kasumi started to say. "Close the...Ranma!!"
The sudden shift in Kasumi's instructions came as Ranma not only closed the door, but closed it after going back into the room. Mere moments later they could hear him loudly baricading the entrance.
"No!" Akane gasped.
The floor rocked as light flooded through the cracks around the door and whatever furniture Ranma had piled against it. Silence followed as smoke and steam curled up from the door and around it.
"Baka," Akane whispered quietly.
