A*0-1 sighed, and took a final look at Akane, properly de-treed and sleeping in her bed.
Well, good. Even after she'd felt Akane's aura coming from her room, she'd had this irrational fear of finding a potted Akane-tree there or something. And she still couldn't seem to shake it, even though she'd seen that Akane was perfectly human now before she went and took that shower. Oh, she didn't really think somebody would do something like that, if Akane still happened to be a tree, but with some people she knew...
Ahh, well. To bed, now - she could feel her mind going all fuzzy even as she stood there...

Once upon a time, there had been a girl, who'd lived with her parents, her father training her daily when he wasn't going off on training trips, which irked her a bit (What? She wasn't good enough to train seriously?), though he did take her on weeks or months-long training trips when the summer and winter vacations came rolling around. She had ended up taking a plunge into a Cursed Spring which gave her a curse that turned her into a boy, and...
Are you sure about that, now?
Once upon a time, there had been a child, who from a young age showed the ability to shift into either male or female forms. He/She had a parent who took him on training trips, one such trip leading him/her towards a certain certain Cursed Spring like it was kismet...
But are you sure? How could you be?
Or maybe things had gone like this : Once upon a time, there had been a child, who one day showed strange powers when attacked by monsters...
The Girl smiles, oddly gently and sadly.
