Devimon looked over his pool, observing the paths of the DigiDestined. Already, several of the digimon partners had found ways to their Champion levels. “This will need to be dealt with. The stronger they grow, the greater the chances of that prophecy being realized.”
He changed the image to two of the DigiDestined who seemed to be away from the group. He didn’t know how they got to this island, let alone why they hadn’t met up with the others. He was certainly interested in the pigtailed one. The boy seemed to be able to attack like a digimon, and his hair color shifted at times between red and black. “Very curious. Perhaps I will study him after my victory. That is assuming of course that he survives.”
“Allow me, my Lord,” asked Ogremon.
“No,” said Devimon. “I have other plans for you. Get in here, Saberdramon!”
The dark firebird digimon descended, resembling a black fire form of the Birdramon. “What is your desire, my Lord,” said the deep male voice of the virus digimon.
“I want you to eliminate these two DigiDestined,” he said, pointing to the two in the water. “Take three Black Gears with you for backup. I want nothing to survive.”
“As you command,” said the digimon, as he took off, the Black Gears following.
Ogremon snorted. “Suck-up.”
“What was that?” bellowed Devimon.
“Nothing,” squeaked out the green digimon.
Saberdramon flew towards the intended targets. “I will need strong digimon who can stand up against that human’s attack. Let’s see, what do we have here?” he paused, looking down at several Monochromon that were currently fighting each other. “Yes, these brutes will do.”
