Ami smiled a bit and waved as she watched her friends gather on the bus for the trip down to the ocean. She'd hoped to follow them soon, but felt uncomfortable in leaving quite yet. Her mother had seemed a bit ... off coming home from the Hospital the past night. Not sick, merely distracted, which was notable to her as it was. Some of the others had understood, and Usagi had almost offered to stay herself. Fortunately, Mamoru had distracted her before she could make that genuinely nice, but unneeded offer.
She shook her head and walked down the street. After all, she could just take a bus tomorrow or the next day if need be. Two weeks minus two days is still plenty of time to be down at the beach. And it was better to give some support to her mother... there was enough other times she'd supported her after all...

Yes, whichever makes less waves..."

Especially if it was more youma...
She paused as she turned the corner, ducking as a piece of debris nearly collided with her forehead. Two figures were fighting it out in the near deserted street, trading blows back and forth, neither showing really any finesse, but much will and power. One seemed like a youma, yet something felt wrong to her. Almost... like it had no vitality of its own... reminding her more of a victim of a youma than a true one, yet...
She yelped and moved away, preparing to transform. The other fighter looked much more... heroic in some ways yet cold. The blue and white armor covered the person completely, but some hints of grace made Usagi think of it as a her. Watching them was almost hypnotic as her subconscious instincts played warnign bells that something important was going on here, delaying her intended action all the more. A swift punch and chop forced the monster back, as the warrior stepped back toward Usagi and made some action on her wrist. Usagi gasped as she heard...
