"Cast off!" A piercing humming filled the air as parts of the armor lifted from the figure and a synthesized female voice intoned in reverb, "CHANGE DRAGON" The armor pieces exploded out, most of them moving forward to hit the green monster who staggered under the force of the blows as the figure underneath, for lack of a better term uncoiled. The bodysuit of armor was much more flexible, done in white primary with sky blue undertones. The helmet reminded of a strange cross of chinese dragon and insect, the latter helped by the four long planes attached to a small backpack on the back of the armor. On one arm, she could see what looked like a dragonfly pointed tail-first over the left wrist, both the eyes on the dragonfly and in the helmet glowing white a quick moment before fading to a pale blue.
The monster seemed disoriented, then got agitated. Usagi reached for her compact. This at least was pretty plain what was what... and better to help. As she did, the monster seemed to gain heat, then started to melt and change... becoming even more ugly as she watched. All the more reason to change, to her sensibilities.
"MOON COSM-"
The creature blurred suddenly, as its opponent snapped "Clock up!", hitting something on her belt.
"--ano?" Usagi blinked, looking around frantically as the battle seemed to have just evaporated from around her.
"CLOCK UP"
The world ground to a near halt as the only two moving in any meaningful way was her and one of the creatures that... she felt herself move away from that thought as she focussed herself back to the task. She knew what would be coming next, so charged ahead of the creature, diverting it away from ... from the girl in front of her. She took a breath mentally, letting her body... at least this form's body move a bit in automatic pilot as she redoubled her focus. She'd have time, time soon to let it all go, but it's not time, not now...
The creature whipped long vinelike appendages at her, bringing her fully back in focus as it twinged a phantom memory of other fights... reminding her that this one she couldn't let go as badly as another had. There wasn't anyone else to help her this time... and maybe not ever with this. Her heart ached, then blazed as her jaw set. She grabbed one of the waving lashes and pulled hard, whipping the beast about. It slammed into the side of the building as she reached for her Damsel Zecter, disoriented again.
"1"
"Rider Flight!"
"RIDER FLIGHT"
The wings on her back spread to extension as she leaped high... higher than the buildings that surrounded her. Her arc paused, the wings vibrating as they hovered. She tapped the Zecter one last time.
"2"
"Rider KICK!"
"RIDER KICK"
She plummeted, her will and her focus on her target's chest, as she became a hypersonic projectile, one that aimed true. The creature exploded as if it had been a gasoline tank rather than an alien object. She landed on her feet, the wings retracting flat as she let the wisps of heat wash about her.
"CLOCK OVER"
The world moved faster, bringing back reality.... especially as the armor left her, making her feel all the more vulnerable as the Damsel Zecter left her, flying to... wherever it went to rest after its own job was done. Ami Mizuno, High School Student, Sailor Senshi, merely kept in pose, unsure to move... unsure if she could without pain coming through the walls she had to keep up for the past few days.
Usagi turned the corner, even more confused as there was no hint of whatever the two had gone. As she did, she gasped, eyes shining in relief. Then she paused again, feeling disquiet with her. She rushed closer, placing arm about her friend's shoulder. "...Ami-chan?" Her friend, one of her truest, turned to look to her, then did something not very frequent. She grabbed onto Usagi and cried, loudly.
