[Episode 174403] [Episode 174403]That was why he was able to quickly find the spot where they were going. When they came in through the corridor, it wasn't too obvious what was going to happen to them. After all, he wasn't too educated on even Earth high technology, and this was far beyond what was known to humanity. What he did know was that it was filled with what looked like clear tubes, and when the first people came in, they headed directly for those big round containers. The clear things rose up as the first 'zombies' reached the platform, and they stepped up without a second's hesitation. Then the machines lowered the tubes back up, and a fluid enveloped each person.
One of those people was actually a girl that he recognized, and he could clearly see her from his vantage point as he hid behind some equipment. She was the daughter of the owner of the fish market that Kasumi usually shopped at. But there was no sign of the cheerful and hard worker that he'd met a couple of times. Rather, she merely floated a bit as some sort of flexible piping system came down and pierced her body in several places, mostly in her back. From the way that her body arched and she involuntarily gasped, it had to hurt a lot, but if it registered in her mind, there was no sign of it. Instead, she merely allowed the violation of her body, and didn't even show any reaction when things went into places that he was certain would have been embarrassing, in addition to agonizing.
Yet, the strangest was yet to come, as Ranma saw her begin to change. Every muscle in her body seemed to tighten in ways that were simply not natural. By the looks of them, they apparently were becoming more dense, but not bulking up, so as to not lose that much speed. Then there was her skin took on an odd sheen, and it almost seemed as if there were scales in places on her. He was pretty sure that there were gills in the sides of her neck, and he could tell that there was a bit of webbing at least between her fingers. When she opened her eyes, he could see at least one more, translucent, lid under her original one.
And the damnedest thing was that she didn't seem to have the opportunity to refuse, or even protest, it at all. The only thing that she could do was to buck and push back against the incoming chemicals, but it wasn't even like she was trying to fight even that. What it appeared to be was that she was attempting to pump it into herself, or just assist in this transgression against her own body.
Even when she was released, it was clear that she wasn't about to fight it. In fact, it seemed to create an even greater hold on her, as what came out of it seemed to be some sort of creation made exactly to act as told. Whatever was left of the girl that she had been was now stuck in a transformed body that was being controlled by whatever had sent out those disks. Of course, he didn't even know if their minds were still there, perhaps crying out against their inability to control their own bodies, or if they'd been silenced so the ones who'd invaded could have what might be the only thing that was valuable to them, living bodies that they could use and twist to their own purposes.
All that Ranma could do was grit his teeth and put his hands into white knuckled fists while:
